
According to information from the Department of International Cooperation, attending the event, on the Vietnamese side were: Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka Ngo Trinh Ha; Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation, Deputy General Representative of Vietnam at EXPO 2025 Tran Nhat Hoang; Director of the Ho Chi Minh President Relic Site at the Presidential Palace Le Thi Phuong. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation Tran Nhat Hoang said that this is the first time an exhibition about President Ho Chi Minh has been held at a World Expo. “President Ho Chi Minh’s entire life is a living testament to his dedication to work and his aspiration to contribute to the country and to humanity for a better world – values that are completely in tune with the theme and spirit of EXPO 2025,” Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang emphasized.

Director of the Ho Chi Minh President Relic Site Le Thi Phuong said: The exhibition introduces to visitors of EXPO 2025 valuable documents and images, reflecting the life, career, thoughts and feelings of President Ho Chi Minh - a great but extremely close and simple leader. Through that, Japanese and international people can feel more deeply about his personality, thoughts and feelings towards the people of the world in general and Japan in particular. Ms. Le Thi Phuong also invited delegates to visit President Ho Chi Minh's residence and workplace in Hanoi in the coming time to learn more about his simple but great life, as well as about the beautiful, peaceful and hospitable country of Vietnam.


The exhibition “President Ho Chi Minh – Symbol of Peace and Friendship” takes place from May 23 to 25 at the Vietnam Exhibition House at EXPO 2025. Visitors will have the opportunity to watch valuable films about diplomacy during the Ho Chi Minh era; through documents and images, learn about the 30-year journey to find a way to save the country of President Ho Chi Minh – the great leader of the Vietnamese people, the builder of international solidarity.
After EXPO 2025, the exhibition about President Ho Chi Minh will continue to take place in Fukuoka city, Japan from May 28 to 29.
