On the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, at the close of the session, a total of only nearly 17,000 billion VND was changed hands, a sharp decrease compared to 26,400 billion VND yesterday.
The most liquid stock is SHB with only over 600 billion VND changed hands, followed by VIX with nearly 575 billion VND, TCB (nearly 540 billion VND.

Investors are cautious in disbursing, and today, stocks with high liquidity have cooled down significantly. These are factors that cause liquidity to decrease sharply.
Foreign investors were net sellers. This group bought 1,866 billion VND and sold nearly 2,003 billion VND.
After opening, the market was red and then quickly increased again, with the highest point being over 6 points, up to nearly 1,320 points. However, from 10:15 onwards, demand was quite weak while supply increased, causing the index representing the floor to decrease. After the lunch break, VN-Index stopped at 1,313.25 points, down 0.59 points.
In the afternoon session, stocks were strongly differentiated, the VN-Index was mainly red then turned slightly green at the end of the session. Closing the market, the VN-Index stopped at 1,314.46 points, up 0.62 points (0.05%) while the VN30-Index was at 1,409.4 points, down 0.16 points (-0.01%).
Diversification occurred in many industry groups. Therefore, stocks increased and decreased quite equally. The whole floor recorded 162 stocks increasing in price, 150 stocks decreasing in price. In the VN30 group, the number of stocks increasing and decreasing was 15 stocks and 12 stocks respectively.
The strongest support for the market in this session was GAS, contributing 1.12 points; followed by VHM (0.67 points), GEE (0.5 points). On the other hand, VPL took away the most points with nearly 0.7 points, followed by TCB (nearly 0.6 points), VPB (0.36 points).
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index stopped at 216.32 points, down 0.47 points (-0.22%); the HNX30-Index fell 1.84 points (-0.43%), to 427.23 points. The total transaction value reached nearly 1,200 billion VND.
