The special concert program was held to honor two great world composers, Sergei Rachmaninov (1873-1943) and Sergei Prokofiev (1891-1953).

Composer Sergei Prokofiev's career left an indelible mark on 19th-century classical music. His immense artistic legacy has endured over time. In particular, his symphonic children's fairy tale: Peter and the Wolf remains one of the most performed and listened to classics in the world to this day.

Sergei Rachmaninov, in addition to being a famous composer, was also a legendary pianist. Rachmaninov's mark was recognized when he composed Piano Concerto No. 3 in D minor, op. 30 in the summer of 1909 and performed it as a piano solo in New York City. The work quickly became famous and was recognized by experts as having a very complex and extremely attractive technique...

The concert will open with Trong Dai’s Dawn in the Rhythm of the Streets. This is a new work of his, fitting in with the fresh creative atmosphere of the two Russian composers in the program. Immediately after, the famous pianist Nguyen Bich Tra, who has made her name in Europe, will perform Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 3. Born in Vietnam, pianist Nguyen Bich Tra made her first public appearance at the Hanoi Opera House at the age of 10 and has since gone on to perform at prestigious venues in the UK, Tokyo, Hong Kong and elsewhere with live radio and television broadcasts around the world.

In addition, the audience also enjoyed Prokofiev's Violin Concerto No. 1 in D major performed by violinist Jeon Minh. The work impressed with its seemingly endless energy and extremely rich modulations.
