Suspected case of 3 children died from bathing in the river

DTO - On the evening of May 28, information from the functional sector of Cao Lanh district said: At about 4:30 p.m. on May 28, 2023, in Hamlet 2, My Hiep commune, Cao Lanh district, a drowning accident occurred, killing 2 children and leaving 1 child unaccounted for while bathing in the river.

According to initial verification results, at the above mentioned point, 3 children including: NNNH (born 2010), NNNN (born 2010) and NNNH (born 2016) all residing in the locality, went swimming in Ba Du river in the water area of Hamlet 2, My Hiep commune (Cao Lanh district).

Because the children had not come home for a long time, the family quickly called out and went looking for them. Suspecting that three children had drowned, many local people searched and discovered the bodies of two children. The authorities and local people continued to search for the remaining child.

Currently, students are preparing for summer vacation, parents need to closely monitor their children, especially when children are bathing in the river, they must be supervised by adults to avoid unfortunate incidents like the one above.
