To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification, Vu Dieu Thao initiated a meaningful national music project - solo performance of 54 revolutionary songs on the pipa, including: Marching to Saigon, As if Uncle Ho were here on the great victory day, The person who built Ke Go lake, The sound of pestles on Bom Bo hamlet, The girl who paved the road, The Truong Son road my car passed by, Light the fire, Five brothers on a tank ...

"As a Vietnamese, I am deeply moved and grateful for the heroic history and sacrifices of many generations for national independence. Music is my way of expressing my gratitude to previous generations," the artist confided.

The project initially came from personal interest. But the reception from the community, especially veterans, made her feel her responsibility and mission.

"A veteran sent a message: On behalf of more than 4 million veterans, I thank you, Dieu Thao . My heart sank. So my simple guitar music can become a spiritual gift for those who have experienced the war," Vu Dieu Thao said.

In addition to 54 solo pieces, the project also features the participation of Meritorious Artist Viet Hong, the Tu Quy group, zither and pipa groups... bringing diversity in performance forms and musical colors.

After completing the album, Vu Dieu Thao continued to arrange revolutionary songs for the pipa major at the Vietnam National Academy of Music - where she is teaching. This is a systematic step, not only preserving but also bringing revolutionary music into official teaching, creating the premise for generations of students to continue the spirit of patriotism through traditional musical instruments.
