With a height of 1.73m and balanced body measurements of 83-61-97cm, Do Cam Ly, born in 2003 from Phu Tho, is a rare contestant from the North who attracts attention at Miss Universe Vietnam 2025.
Beauty Cam Ly received a question in the behavioral round: The moon shines by reflecting light from other sources. As Miss Universe Vietnam, what is your source of light? How will you shine your light in a world where everyone is shining but sometimes forgets the beauty and light of those around you?
The beauty replied: "We are living in a turbulent world and going through an era of growth, where everyone wants to sparkle and shine. The moon is a reflection of the light of the sun. And although the light from the sun is extremely bright, that does not mean that the moon cannot shine in its own way.
The light from the moon is persistent, patient and gentle like the beauty of a woman. It is like you are a contestant of Miss Universe Vietnam standing here spreading good values to illuminate every home, making that beauty shine more brightly. We never forget our inner beauty, which is compassion and kindness."
Four years ago, when she returned to her hometown for Tet after passing the university entrance exam, Cam Ly felt deeply the love and pride her extended family had for her for the first time in many years. Participating in Miss Universe Vietnam is her way of bringing the image of her hometown and family closer to the community.

Contestant Do Cam Ly at the Miss Universe Vietnam 2025 contest:
The journey of taking the university entrance exam also shaped the person Cam Ly is today. From an unexcelled student, she worked tirelessly. As a result, Cam Ly achieved 27.3 points in block D14 and was admitted to the International Relations major at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City.

Currently, she is a 4th year student majoring in International Relations and was a member of the foreign affairs committee organizing the International Model United Nations Conference (IRMUN), which helped Cam Ly hone her critical thinking and independent analysis skills.
Sharing with VietNamNet , Cam Ly said that a teacher - a "fire-bearer" - changed her life. The biggest lesson she learned from him was: "Don't be indifferent to your own education and knowledge". Meeting him a few days before the preliminary round of Miss Universe Vietnam lit a fire in her, making her embark on this journey not only with passion, but also with a serious and responsible spirit.
Cam Ly's hobbies are reading books and watching the sea. Reading books helps broaden her horizons, look at problems deeply and sometimes helps the beauty change her perspective positively when facing difficulties, while watching the sea helps her calm down, regain energy and relax.

With the motto Knowledge is power, education is the key , Cam Ly constantly strives to improve herself. She defines influential beauty as a philosophy of life - where beauty is not only about appearance but also the combination of a kind heart, deep intelligence and action. She tries to live by that philosophy through an educational project called Education Caravan, with the desire to bring knowledge to areas that lack educational opportunities.

Cam Ly shared that the thing she is most proud of is having the courage to step out of her comfort zone to register for a beauty pageant from a girl who has never had any experience in beauty pageants. She received many messages from friends, acquaintances, even people she has never met, and most of all, the encouragement from her family. She is proud not because she is recognized but because she touches the hearts of others sincerely.

According to Cam Ly, her biggest advantage is her balance and flexibility in all aspects. She is not the best in a specific field but is capable of handling all the criteria that Miss Universe Vietnam requires, from appearance, performance skills to thinking and behavior.
She believes that bravery is the most admirable quality in Vietnamese women today. "That is the silent bravery of mothers and wives in the past - knowing how to sacrifice for family and country. The bravery of modern young people - daring to dream, daring to pursue passion and using intelligence to create value for society," she expressed.
