Mr. NBM recounts the journey of more than 1,000 km following the car carrying his daughter abroad to do "easy work, high salary"

On the evening of October 4, when meeting reporters, Mr. M.'s face showed signs of fatigue and haggardness after many sleepless nights. Mr. M. said that he and his wife have 3 children, of which Q. is the eldest daughter. Normally, Q. stays at home, obediently taking care of her younger siblings because her older siblings work as factory workers all day. On October 1, Q. suddenly did not come home, and Mr. M. and his wife waited all night. The next day, a strange phone number texted a relative to inform Mr. M. and his wife with the content: The child is working far away, will not return for another year. Parents stay home, take care of their health, try to take care of the younger siblings. When he saw the message from his relatives, Mr. M. was devastated, while his wife burst into tears. He immediately tried to contact his daughter's friends to ask for information and learned that Q. had previously invited him to work abroad with a very high salary. He was sure that his daughter was still young and gullible, so she was being lured and deceived by bad people. After hearing that the car carrying his daughter had left at 7 p.m. on October 2 in the South-North direction (Highway 1), Mr. Q. decided to catch a car to chase after his daughter. It was 11 p.m. on October 2, and Highway 1 running in front of his house was deserted. "I didn't have time to prepare anything, I only brought a set of clothes and a spare charger. During the journey of more than 1,000 km from Dong Nai to Quang Tri, I couldn't sleep and couldn't eat a bite of rice," Mr. M. recounted.

Police forces intervened and rescued the victims.

During the process of following his daughter, Mr. M. was accompanied by some of his daughter's friends, who helped connect information with Q. Before that, these friends were also invited by Q. to do "easy work, high salary". Mr. M. coordinated with Q.'s friends to pretend to follow the car carrying Q. to work abroad. Along the way, Mr. M. asked his friends to text Q. to send him the location, then he reported the news to the police agencies of the localities the car passed through. Although it started about 5 hours after the passenger car carrying his daughter, when it arrived at Dong Ha City Bus Station (Quang Tri Province), Mr. Q.'s car was more than 1 hour ahead of this car. Here, after receiving the news, the police force was also present to intercept the related vehicles. "At Dong Ha bus station, seeing my daughter sitting in a car being approached by the police, I felt like I was reborn, tears were falling without knowing when. Until now, I still can't believe I've seen my daughter again, I'm so happy" - he said. It is known that Mr. M. and his wife work as workers at a mechanical company in Dong Nai, about 7 kilometers from home. Usually, they go to work early in the morning, after taking care of the children's meals, they go to school. If there is no overtime, this small family usually reunites in the evening. "Through the Lao Dong Newspaper, on behalf of my family, I would like to thank the local police agencies, including the Dong Ha City Police, for their enthusiastic support and prompt intervention so that my father and I can reunite. My wife and I will try to take better care of our daughter" - Mr. M. confided.
Previously, at 2:20 p.m. on October 3, the Dong Ha City Police on duty received a report from Mr. NBM that his daughter, NNQ, was taken by a group of people to the Dong Ha City Bus Station to illegally exit to Laos to do "easy work, high salary". After receiving the report, the Dong Ha City Police urgently conducted verification. At about 9:00 p.m. on the same day, at the Dong Ha City Bus Station, the police force discovered two cars picking up Q. and many other people to take them to the border area of Huong Hoa district to illegally exit to Laos. The Dong Ha City Police invited the people involved to the headquarters to work. According to initial information, after hearing the subjects introduce that going to Laos would be "easy work, high salary", Q. agreed to go along. During the connection process, the subjects said that Q. invited more people to go with him. The case is currently being investigated and clarified by the police.
