Consumers can check the authenticity of medicines and functional foods themselves thanks to the transparent lookup system at Long Chau Pharmacy. This is a step forward to establish transparency standards in the pharmaceutical retail industry.

In a market full of confusing information, many consumers have bought fake drugs and functional foods of unknown origin. But now, Vietnamese consumers can verify the authenticity of the medical products they use every day. This positive move comes from the Long Chau pharmacy system - a unit that is gradually establishing transparent standards for the pharmaceutical retail industry.

From April 2025, each purchase invoice at Long Chau will come with information about the place of manufacture and product registration number. At the end of the invoice, there are detailed instructions for customers to easily look up on the official information portal.

In the context of the medical market facing many challenges in terms of trust and quality, Long Chau is proud to be the pioneer in establishing new standards of transparency, helping people proactively authenticate products, an important step in the journey to protect the health of themselves and their families.

For medicine, customers access https://dichvucong.dav.gov.vn/ congbothuoc and enter the registration number printed on the packaging.

As for functional foods, customers can look them up at https://nhathuoclongchau.com.vn, where product declaration registration receipts are publicly available.

With technology support from FPT Corporation, Long Chau pharmacy system allows users to check all legal information and product origin conveniently and transparently, at the store, on the website and mobile application. The displayed information includes place of manufacture, ingredients, uses, registration number and advertising content confirmation certificate (if any). This is the first time in Vietnam that people can proactively look up the legal records of medical products so easily.

At the pharmacy counter, Long Chau's team of pharmacists not only provide professional advice, but also enthusiastically guide users on how to check product information. Each store is equipped with computers for customers to look up on the spot, providing a reliable experience.

The campaign “Transparent origin for a healthy Vietnam” is not only Long Chau’s own effort, but also an action in response to the new directive of the Drug Administration of Vietnam ( Ministry of Health ) in tightening the management of prescription drugs and special control drugs on social networks and e-commerce platforms. Thereby, clearly demonstrating the system’s commitment to accompanying the community, joining hands to eliminate counterfeit and poor quality goods that are causing many serious consequences for people’s health.

In addition to increasing transparency, Long Chau's pharmacy and vaccination center system has also recorded impressive growth. As of May 28, 2025, Long Chau has 2,087 pharmacies and 164 vaccination centers nationwide. Since the beginning of the year, Long Chau has opened an average of more than one new store per day.

Not only expanding in scale, the operating efficiency of the Long Chau system is also remarkable. In the first quarter of 2025, the system's revenue reached VND 8,054 billion, an increase of 46% over the same period in 2024 and accounting for 69% of the parent group's total revenue. The average revenue per store reached about VND 1.3 billion/month, showing the growing trust from customers.

Long Chau is gradually developing into a comprehensive healthcare ecosystem with services such as vaccination, online health consultation, and professional customer care. The goal by the end of 2025 is to reach 2,430 stores, affirming the commitment to bringing quality, transparent healthcare services closer to everyone.
