On social networks, Facebook and Zalo pages of many volunteer groups in Hung Yen have continuously updated information, called for donations, and publicized lists and collection points of goods in recent days. What is easy to see in this campaign is that it is more professional and scientific than before: relief goods are classified into groups, with notes on quantity and instructions for use; clothes are required to be washed and folded; children are given priority for essential items; all activities closely follow the list of necessities that need to be mobilized and supported by flood-affected localities. All of this shows the spirit of "how you give is better than what you give", kindness and responsibility in each gift package sent.

In Thai Thuy commune, a volunteer group including Mr. Phan Van Hai (Phan Hai Oriental Medicine Clinic), Ms. Do Thi Thuy (Thanh Tung Production - Import Export Company Limited) and Ms. Ta Thi Nuong mobilized 25 tons of goods in just one week. From November 23 to 25, the group transported and gave more than 1,000 gifts, each worth over 500,000 VND including instant noodles, milk, drinking water, rice, bread, banh chung... to people affected by storms in Dak Lak province. Sharing about the trip, Mr. Phan Van Hai said: When we saw the images of people in flood-affected areas losing their homes and lacking food, we were very sad. Therefore, we decided to mobilize as quickly as possible to send gifts to the places in need. These gifts are not only material, but also the hearts of the people of Hung Yen , hoping to share difficulties and help people have more faith in times of trouble.

Receiving gifts in Hoa My commune (Dak Lak province), many people were so moved that they could not hold back their tears. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, a resident in the flooded area, shared: During the days of isolation, we lacked clean water, food and were very confused. Receiving gifts from Hung Yen, we were truly touched because we felt we were not alone. These necessities arrived at the right time, helping my family have more conditions to overcome the most difficult time.
Activities to support flood-affected areas in Thai Thuy commune attracted widespread participation from the people. Mr. Vu Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Thuy commune, said: Many households in the commune, although not well-off, are still willing to contribute to the people of the Central region. The most valuable thing is the spirit of solidarity, trust and consensus of the people. We will continue to mobilize more widely to have more meaningful shipments sent to areas damaged by floods.

In Yen My commune, Thien Tam An Volunteer Team, Nghia Lo Pagoda (Trai Trang village) coordinated with Regiment 940, Air Force Officer School to transport 4 tons of relief goods by air to Duc Binh commune, Dak Lak province. During the 2 days of November 24-25, the team gave 1,200 banh chung, 250 cartons of milk and 150 cartons of bread with a total value of 110 million VND to people in flooded areas. Mr. Do Minh Phuong, Team Leader of Thien Tam An Volunteer Team shared: We hope these gifts will help people have more food and health to stabilize their lives after the flood. As soon as we returned, we started preparing for the next trip with 250 practical gifts from blankets to pots and pans, necessities, medicine... The total estimated cost is about 200 million VND and we are receiving great support from the community.
Together with volunteer groups, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have also stepped up propaganda and mobilized organizations and individuals to join hands to support people in flood-affected areas, creating a strong spreading effect. Thousands of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the whole province have voluntarily deducted their daily salary and contributed necessities to support flood-affected areas. According to Ms. Dang Thi Chien, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee: From October to now, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has mobilized over 28 billion VND to support people in the provinces affected by floods. The most precious thing is the spirit of solidarity and affection of the people of Hung Yen. The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province continues to call on agencies, units, businesses, cadres, soldiers and people of all walks of life in the province to join hands to support people in flood-affected areas. We commit that all received resources will be public, transparent, and transferred directly to people in flood-affected areas at the right time and in the right need.
