A man has struggled to adapt to everyday life after an accident left him in a coma and wiped out 39 years of memories, including information about his family.

When Luciano d'Adamo, 63, woke up from a coma after a few days in a car accident, he thought he was 24 and about to marry his 19-year-old girlfriend.
