Ho Chi Minh City residents eagerly watch helicopters raise the national flag

On the morning of April 18, 10 helicopters of the Air Defense - Air Force conducted a joint flight to raise the Party flag and the national flag in the sky of Ho Chi Minh City, ready to perform in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

At around 9am, 10 Mi-8, Mi-17, and 6 helicopters took off from Bien Hoa airport ( Dong Nai ) towards the sky of Ho Chi Minh City. The helicopters practicing flag-raising were divided into 3 groups: 3 in the front, 4 in the middle, and 3 at the back. The formation of 3 helicopters flew in the front in an arrow shape, 4 in the back in a diamond shape, and 3 at the back in an arrow shape.
