Beauty withdraws from Miss Universe Vietnam 2025

On April 12, the preliminary round of Miss Universe Vietnam - Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025 took place in Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, many contestants announced their withdrawal from this beauty contest. Notably, Nong Thuy Hang - Miss Vietnam Ethnic Groups 2022 and Bui Thi Thanh Thuy - Top 16 Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023 also decided to stop early.

According to Nong Thuy Hang, she thought and considered quite a bit before withdrawing from this year's Miss Cosmo contest.

"I am entering a completely new phase in my life: preparing to get married and start a family. This is not an easy decision. I always cherish every opportunity to accompany beauty pageants, be inspired by wonderful people and spread positive values ​​to the community. I am grateful that my journey has been loved, trusted and followed by everyone," she shared.

Similarly, Bui Thi Thanh Thuy explained the reason for not being able to attend the preliminary round due to personal and work schedules.

The beauty said: "Life is a journey of choices. Today I choose to step back a little. Not because I give up, but to wait for a more suitable time, where I can be truly ready, wholeheartedly and shine in the fullest way."

This year's Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025 preliminary round witnessed the return of many familiar faces. One of them is Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 2nd Runner-up Truong Quy Minh Nhan. The clip recording her sharing at the preliminary round was shared and attracted many interactions on social networks.

Minh Nhan affirmed that she would not give up the title of 2nd Runner-up of Miss Grand Vietnam (a contest organized by Sen Vang), but she believes that each time will always have different directions and goals. Therefore, after about a month of thinking, Minh Nhan decided to try her hand at Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2025.

After the preliminary round, the organizers will select the top 45 to enter the Cosmo Camp training round. This year, the competition will change the name to Jury Session for the semi-final night. The final round is scheduled to be held in Nha Trang ( Khanh Hoa ) on June 21.

This year's contest expanded the age range of contestants, allowing candidates from 18 to 33 years old to compete for the title of Miss Universe Vietnam.
