BAC GIANG - According to the weather forecast of the Bac Giang Hydrometeorological Station and the monitoring synthesis of the Bac Giang Forestry Department, by April 26, the weather situation in the province has a cold air mass increasing the compression of the low pressure trough combined with high-altitude wind convergence causing scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms (common rainfall from 10-25 mm; Son Dong district has rain, but the rainfall is insignificant), combined with high air humidity and high humidity of combustible materials.

The forest fire forecast in Son Dong district is still at level V (extremely dangerous). The Forest Protection Department requested the district People's Committee to continue to strengthen inspection and urge the commune-level authorities, forest owners and grassroots forest rangers to immediately implement forest fire prevention and fighting measures according to the law, the Government and the province.

The remaining districts, towns and cities are forecasted to have forest fires at level I (low level), with little risk of forest fires, but they should not be negligent or subjective. The Forest Protection Department recommends that the Chairman of the Commune People's Committee direct the Commune Forest Fire Prevention and Fighting Command and forest owners to coordinate with the Forest Protection Force to deploy forest fire prevention and fighting plans; organize inspections, provide guidance on swidden production areas, disseminate information on forest fire prevention and fighting and slash-and-burn farming according to proper techniques.
