The 115th Anniversary Immersive Opera House Technology and Art Experience Exhibition officially opens from November 22 to December 31 at the Hanoi Opera House.

The light mapping show that opened on the evening of November 22 transformed the space of the Hanoi Opera House into more magnificent and magical than ever.

115 years of Hanoi in the heart of the theater
The exhibition is designed as a journey through the Opera House, with light mapping, motion graphics and multi-directional sound. The spaces are organized into four content groups, but are streamlined to create a seamless experience rather than being divided into separate exhibition areas.

Visitors can set foot on the stage of the Opera House to admire the magical light movements on the theater's dome.

"Architectural Heritage" (1st floor) introduces important slices of the formation process of the Opera House, its characteristic detail system and timeless architectural value.
Historical space and memories of Hanoi - "115 years of Hanoi in the heart of the theater" (2nd floor) recreates historical marks and changes of the capital over the past 115 years, through a system of lights and images that visually take viewers "through time".
Performing arts space - "Artistic Imprint" (3rd floor) takes viewers into an artistic maze in the theater sanctuary with genres once associated with the theater such as drama, symphony, opera, ballet, modern music... Audiences can feel the stage atmosphere through 360-degree sound layers and moving images.

Hanoi Opera House once witnessed the golden age of drama with sold-out plays by famous playwright Luu Quang Vu.

The magnificent light domes
The most impressive highlight of the exhibition is the theater auditorium - "Heart of Art", where multi-layered mapping technology and 360-degree images are staged like a light show. The space retains the classic, splendid look of the theater, while adding modern lighting effects, creating a combination of heritage and contemporary technology.

The magnificent dome of the opera house pays tribute to every art form that has ever graced the iconic building's famous auditorium.

In addition, visitors also have the opportunity to explore the Mirror Room - one of the iconic spaces of diplomacy and art of the Opera House, as well as experience standing on the balcony of the theater, where you can see the entire August Revolution Square. These are the points that many visitors consider "the most unique" when they first opened to serve an immersive (multi-sensory) exhibition.

Visitors check in at the "divine" balcony corner overlooking the entire August Revolution Square in front of the theater.

Mr. Chu Anh Hung - Deputy Director of the Opera House shared: "Immersive Opera House is a unique and unprecedented project at the Hanoi Opera House, a beautiful mark before the theater officially closes for restoration work early next year, expected to last for 2 years".
Running until December 31, the exhibition is expected to become a prominent cultural destination in Hanoi's 2025 festival season, attracting both domestic and international audiences. This is also an activity that contributes to promoting the cultural industry and renewing heritage experiences in the context of the capital moving towards building the image of a creative city.
The event, organized by HEXOGON VIETNAM in collaboration with the Opera House, brings a completely new approach, combining heritage and lighting technology to recreate the history, architecture and art of the iconic building of the Capital.
