North Korean leader visits tank unit, calls for combat readiness

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un inspected a tank unit and called for enhanced combat readiness, state news agency KCNA said on March 25.
The unit is the 105th Tank Division of the Seoul Ryu Kyong Su Guards and the 1st Tank Armored Infantry Regiment, established in 1948 and headquartered in North Hwanghae Province, east of the capital Pyongyang. Photo: KCNA.
Kim Jong-un's visit took place on March 24. Before that, the division commander briefed the troops on the offensive and defensive plans, reviewed documents and gave instructions on combat missions and training, according to KCNA. Photo: KCNA.
