“Our House is Strange”: Another Family Comedy for the Summer

This summer, audiences who love comedy and family films will have another choice, the series "Our House is Strange!" with the participation of many familiar faces from both the North and the South.

The film tells the story of a little girl named Thanh My (played by child actress Nha Uyen). She has just experienced a terrible accident and lost her entire family. Wishing for their granddaughter to recover mentally, Thanh My's remaining relatives decided to spend a large sum of money to hire stunt doubles. They are 2 People's Artists Trung Anh and Kim Xuan in the role of grandparents; actors Tuan Tu and Huyen Trang in the role of parents; famous tiktoker Le Bong and a new young actor named Tuan Dat in the role of Thanh My's siblings. The person behind the "pushing the strings" for this family is Huan (played by Nhan Phuc Vinh). This character is an assistant director of many film projects, now developing his profession and is promised a huge amount of money if he does well.

"Our family is so strange!" gives each person a unique personality and situation, even contrasting with each other between grandparents, parents... to create funny and sad situations in caring for and healing the youngest girl in the family. From there, the play leads to a series of awkward situations, especially when Thanh My becomes stubborn, shows a defiant attitude and refuses to cooperate with anyone.

At one point in the film, each of these fake members gets frustrated and wants to withdraw. They seem to have lost their true selves. At that time, there will be a turning point in the film to remind each of their own values, more importantly, the value of family. However, this is not all, because around the girl there are some mysterious hidden corners related to the character Huan and the role of actress Huong Giang - the person who promised Huan a "huge" amount of money. This mystery is related to the phone of the girl Thanh My.

This is the first time director Bui Tuan Vu of the feature films "The Legend of Quan Tien", "The Life of Yen"... has tried his hand at television.

According to the publisher, despite its familiar family theme, "My House is Strange!" will bring many humane and healing messages in its own way to the audience this summer. The film is expected to air from July 17, with new episodes released at 8 p.m. every Monday and Tuesday on the K+ platform.
