According to the fashion house, Sonder means unique discoveries in each person's personal life. The collection expresses the designer's love for women, inspired by the themes and works of artist Le Thi Luu.

"The author's paintings not only honor graceful, emotional lines, but also connect with the creative journey and passion for the profession. I found a common ground and wanted to express it through the combination of painting and fashion ," said the designer.

Print image Painting name: Storm One of the rare paintings that wonderfully depicts Le Thi Luu's expressionist painting, depicting images in a gentle, poetic way. The painting depicts a little girl sitting under a thunderstorm. This is a work that Le Thi Luu loves very much, does not sell and hangs next to her bed. The little girl's eyes are full of worries and questions. The artist did not name the painting. When she first saw the painting, Thuy Khue (a relative of Le Thi Luu) called the painting Storm and she agreed.

The collection depicts the image of women through deconstruction techniques, disassembly, draping, embroidery, 3D printing, and twisting on materials such as kate, cotton, and twill, in which silk dominates with the intention of honoring the silk painting genre associated with the name of the famous artist.

Phan Dang Hoang used white, pink, warm orange, blue combined with black and brown - the typical colors in Le Thi Luu's paintings for the collection. The designer also sketched some images and landscape motifs in Le Thi Luu's paintings in some models, expressed through 3D printing techniques. In addition, the designer also updated Quiet Luxury - a trend that has dominated international runways in recent years.

Le Thi Luu (1911-1988) in Tho Khoi, Bac Ninh , began pursuing a career in painting at the age of 14. She was admitted to the Indochina College of Fine Arts in 1927, when she was only 16 years old, as the school's first female artist. In 1930, she exhibited two oil paintings in the school's first joint exhibition: Portrait of Mr. Hai and Children of the Banana Garden . In 1932, she graduated as valedictorian. She taught at Bao Ho High School (Buoi), Nu Su Pham (Hang Bai), Dang Ten (Ecole dentellière), and Hong Bang (private).

In the early 1940s, Le Thi Luu went to Paris, France with her husband Ngo The Tan and a number of artists such as Mai Trung Thu, Le Pho, and Vu Cao Dam. In the 1950s, Le Thi Luu immersed herself in the roots of Vietnamese culture with a series of ink and gouache works on silk. The artist's favorite subjects were Vietnamese women and children with radiant faces, portrayed realistically. She was famous for her talent in combining colors, light, and delicate strokes, leading viewers to a peaceful, soft, and luxurious space.

Her paintings were exhibited in many galleries in Paris. From 1962, Le Thi Luu taught at the Lycée Corot, Lycée Rodin Paris and Lycée d'Orsay. From 1971, she retired and moved to the South of France. She passed away in 1988. During her lifetime, artist Nguyen Nam Son - co-founder of the Indochina College of Fine Arts, who taught the Graphic and Decorative Arts department - once said that the name Le Thi Luu was very special because it included three types of fruit with sweet aromas and colors: pear, custard apple and pomegranate.

Phan Dang Hoang, from Nghe An, is known for his series of portraits of Vietnamese artists. He received a talent scholarship majoring in fashion design from Nouva Accademia Di Belle Arti (NABA) University in 2018 and graduated with honors. According to BOF , NABA was once voted as one of the top 20 most prestigious fashion design schools in the world.

His designs express the spirit of East-West cultural exchange with positive, youthful energy. Dang Hoang's strength is the way of playing with colors on the same outfit. Dang Hoang has introduced collections including A Dose Of Yoy , Quintessence , La Peinture . In 2023, he introduced the collections Mirage and Sculpture at Milan Fashion Week.

American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and supermodel Naomi Campbell attended the Quintessence presentation held in Italy in September 2021. Some of the young designer's works have appeared in foreign magazines, including Vogue Italy.
