Nha Trang is in the top 15 most prominent destinations in summer 2025

Nha Trang is known as one of the tourist paradises in Vietnam.

According to a report recently released by the Mastercard Economic Institute, more than 50% of the 15 most prominent tourist destinations this summer are in Asia. Notably, Nha Trang, Vietnam, ranked 11th out of these 15 destinations.

Based on a comparison of summer flight bookings for 2024 and 2025, Japan's Tokyo and Osaka top the list of destinations with the highest growth in visitors.

Paris (France) ranked third, reflecting a drop in tourist numbers in the summer of 2024 due to the Summer Olympics, followed by Shanghai (China) in fourth place.

The next positions in the top 10 include Beijing (China), Seoul (South Korea), Singapore, Palma de Mallorca and Madrid in Spain, and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.

The report found that interest in Asian cities is mainly coming from tourists from Asia, Europe and the US. Asia also tops the list of summer destinations for Middle Eastern tourists, although interest in Thailand is growing. Summer flight bookings from Middle Eastern tourists have increased the most to Bangkok, followed by New York and then Phuket.
