Musician Giao Tien reveals the 'beauty' appearing in the song 'Missing my lover again'

Musician Giao Tien appeared at the recording session with his wife, Xuan Huong. Despite their old age, the couple still cling to each other and take care of each other. The male musician said he got married in 1967 and has five children, but none of them pursue art. The wife of the author of Lai Nho Nguoi Yeu confided that even though her hair is gray, she still sees Giao Tien as her "dream prince". She also loves him because he composed many good songs and loved his wife wholeheartedly until old age.

Before marrying Ms. Huong Xuan, at the age of 31, musician Giao Tien loved a girl. However, due to difficult circumstances, this love was not complete. Because he missed his lover, the musician created a collection of three famous songs: Remembering the lover, Missing the lover, Missing the lover again. Giao Tien confessed that "he is a musician who misses all his life" because the collection of songs he wrote at the age of 31 was only for one love and only for one person.

“When two people love each other but circumstances do not allow them to reunite, I miss them and write the song Missing My Lover . But then other situations happen that make the love even more tragic, that love is so torn that I continue to write Missing My Lover . But then I still continue to miss that person morning, noon, afternoon, and night and I create the song Missing My Lover Again to express my undying longing,” musician Giao Tien recounts his unfulfilled love.

Besides those three famous songs, musician Giao Tien also left an impression on the audience with sweet melodies imbued with love for his homeland such as Co Tham Ve Lang, Vo Ngua Tren Doi Co Non, Tinh Dep Mua Chom Chom... Expressing his opinion on the young singers’ performance, musician Giao Tien said: “It doesn’t matter if the contestants sing well or badly, but they have to sing the right lyrics and the right music. If they use the original songs, I am at ease, but if they use songs floating around the internet with wrong lyrics, wrong meaning, and off-beat, that is a sad thing.” Musician Giao Tien said that recently, he was upset when many famous singers changed some of the lyrics or rhythms in his music.

Also in the program, the author of Lai Nho Nguoi Yeu recalled the story that made him regret the most in his writing career. The musician said: “In the past, a few friends visited and gave me handwritten books of poems. The poems had no pen names, and I didn’t know who the author was. I composed five or six songs into music, such as Hoi Vo Ngoai Thanh, Ben Tuong Tu ... and brought them to present and release. It wasn’t until 2014 that I accidentally discovered that poet. This is the regret of my life.”
