Responding to Workers' Month 2025, implementing the movement "I love my Fatherland" and responding to the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign 2025, this year the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) cooperated with businesses to organize the "Young Workers - Spreading Positive Energy" Festival 2025. This is the opening event for a series of Festivals taking place in 3 provinces and cities in May.

On May 11, the “Young Workers - Spreading Positive Energy” Festival in Bac Giang took place with many activities: Medical examination, health consultation, medicine and free gifts for 1,000 young workers; running and badminton tournament for young workers; contest “Searching for young workers’ talents”. In particular, the “Spreading Positive Energy” music festival night had the participation of many famous young artists.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Youth Union of Bac Giang province announced the decision to establish and launch 7 badminton and pickleball clubs for young workers, under the Vietnam Youth Union of Industrial Parks of Bac Giang province. In addition to exciting badminton and pickleball matches, young workers also participated in jogging and tug of war movements... Many prizes were awarded to encourage workers in Bac Giang province to continue exercising to improve their health.

On May 18, the "Young Workers - Spreading Positive Energy" Festival with activities was held at Bien Hung Park, Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province, attracting about 2,000 young workers to participate in meaningful activities such as: Launching the Association of Boarding Houses and Industrial Parks; Medical examination, health consultation, free medicine distribution; Signing the Program of vocational training and job sponsorship for young people between Dong Nai Provincial Youth Union and 3T Technology and Service Joint Stock Company; Organizing booths of folk games, Youth Workers Sports Festival; "Revolutionary Song Propaganda Festival" contest.

In particular, the Music Night program, taking place on the evening of May 18, with the participation of famous young singers and artists and a lucky draw with many valuable and meaningful prizes will be awarded to young workers, which will be a great source of encouragement to help you work more enthusiastically. In addition, there is a lucky draw program with 2 special prizes (motorbikes worth 25 million VND each) and 20 other gifts.

On Sunday, May 25, the Festival was held in Nghe An, bringing an exciting competition between young workers who love sports and are passionate about health training. This is the last location to organize the Festival "Young Workers - Spreading Positive Energy".

In fact, workers are an important force helping Vietnam develop in the technological age. At the recent 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union, General Secretary To Lam recognized the role of youth in the new era - the era of national development, considering youth as a key factor in shaping and developing the future of the country, especially in the coming time, which will not only be an "era of development" but also carry the belief, will and aspiration of the entire nation for a "prosperous and happy" Vietnam.

The Congress Resolution also identified one of the two key projects that the Association will implement during the term, which is "Solidarity and gathering of young workers and laborers in the period of 2024 - 2029", in which the Association will continue to promote and implement many new contents to care for and accompany young workers and laborers more effectively and strongly in both quality and quantity.

Replicating the model of organizing meaningful festivals for workers

Launched in 2023, the "Young Workers - Spreading Positive Energy" Festival series brings many meaningful values ​​to improve the spiritual life of Vietnamese workers. The festival has organized many meaningful activities and attracted more than 60,000 young workers to participate; examined and gave gifts to nearly 30,000 people; deployed more than 200 discount booths, 0 VND booths; organized the Red Bull Cup Football Tournament with nearly 200 football teams from hundreds of participating businesses, with a total prize value of nearly 400 million VND. In addition, 9 music nights with the participation of many famous artists and a lucky draw program with nearly 200 gifts, including 06 Honda Wave RSX motorbikes were awarded.

This is a meaningful model that needs to be replicated in many provinces and localities. During the Workers’ Month, many cities and localities have had attractive activities to care for the health and spiritual life of workers.

As in Da Nang, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification and the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, the Trade Union of Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks organized the Creativity Festival and Workers' Sports Festival in 2025. During the Festival, athletes competed in exciting events, including tug of war, badminton, football, electronics skills competition and creative ideas competition. At the stadium, the atmosphere became bustling when the tug of war and badminton teams started competing, bringing dramatic moments and enthusiastic cheers from the audience. This was not only an opportunity for union members to exercise but also an opportunity to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and exchange between grassroots unions.

In addition to sports activities, workers also participated in the practical competition of mechanical engineering skills. The union created conditions for them to learn and expand their knowledge of electronics. This is a valuable opportunity to help workers improve their skills and adapt to the automation process in production.

In particular, the festival not only created a useful playground for workers to improve their skills and actively participate in sports activities, but also had many gifts to support workers. From the resources of the City Labor Federation, the High-Tech Park Trade Union presented gifts to 118 workers in difficult circumstances, who had work-related accidents and serious illnesses, with a total support amount of 244 million VND. This is a timely encouragement, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and concern of the trade union organization for workers in a challenging period.

Responding to the activities of Workers' Month 2025, on May 17, at the Management Board of Binh Dinh Economic Zone, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Secretariat of the Vietnam Youth Union organized the "Youth Workers" Festival 2025. The event attracted the participation of more than 200 union members and workers. Previously, in 2 days, at Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, the Standing Committee of Binh Dinh Provincial Youth Union organized a series of practical activities to create a useful playground for young workers, while supporting individuals in difficult circumstances. One of the highlights of the Festival was the 2025 Youth Workers' Football Tournament, where football teams from units and enterprises in the province competed in exciting and attractive matches. The tournament brought many dramatic moments and beautiful moves, making fans excited. After many hard-fought matches, the best teams were honored.

In fact, workers play an important role in Vietnam today, not only in economic development but also in building society and defending the country. Workers are a large labor force, accounting for about 13% of the population and 24% of the social labor force. They contribute directly to production, services and various industries, helping to promote economic growth and improve the quality of life.

Taking care of workers’ mental health and well-being is essential. Thanks to the timely support and care from authorities at all levels, businesses, and trade unions, workers will feel secure in their work and dedication, gradually improving their material and spiritual lives and those of their families.
