On the afternoon of December 12th, in Hanoi, the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions ( Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism ) held the opening ceremony of the lacquer art exhibition to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The exhibition features 44 lacquer paintings by many prominent artists. The selected works on display are the result of the talent and creativity of generations of veteran artists who have made significant contributions and left their mark on the development of Vietnamese fine arts.
Among them are many works considered distinctive hallmarks of Vietnamese art: " Hoa Binh Landscape" by painter Nguyen Van Binh, "Uncle Ho with Children" by Nguyen Nghia Duyen, "Chi Lang Pass" by Le Quoc Loc, "Road to Pac Bo Cave" by Tran Dinh Tho, "Ha Long Boat" by Nguyen Van Ty, "Vietnamese Bamboo" by Pham Hoang Van, "Country Lane" by Nguyen Phuc Loi, "Em Xoan" by Bui Huu Hung, "Echoes of the Central Highlands" by Tran Tuan Long…
The exhibition also features the participation of contemporary artists who have achieved success in their artistic careers, such as: artist Pham Hoang Van with the work "Vietnamese Bamboo", artist Nguyen Phuc Loi - "Country Lane", artist Nguyen Truong Linh - "Blue Moon", artist Tran Tuan Long - "Echoes of the Central Highlands", artist Bui Huu Hung - "Em Xoan"...
Through its artworks, the exhibition celebrates the historical and cultural values of the nation, creating an aesthetically pleasing art space that meets the needs of the public who appreciate fine art in particular and art in general.

This is also an opportunity for domestic and international audiences to better understand and appreciate Vietnamese art forms; and at the same time contribute to promoting the image of a country rich in culture, creativity, and humanity.
The exhibition is open to visitors until December 22nd at the Center for Appraisal and Exhibition of Fine Arts and Photography (29 Hang Bai, Hanoi ).
