Many "golden" lands in Ba Ria - Vung Tau will be auctioned in 2025

On May 12, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that according to the plan, in 2025, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center will organize auctions of 8 land plots, including 5 land plots transferred from 2024 and 3 newly proposed land plots.

Of which, there are 4 "golden" land plots in Vung Tau City including: 2.76 ha land plot (cluster 5), ward 1. This is a land plot located close to Front Beach, with 4 sides facing the road; 1.4 ha land plot, Thang Tam ward; Tourist Market land plot (old); Land plot of nearly 60 ha developing the 3/2 Street Urban Area.

In addition, there are 2 land plots in Long Hai town, Long Dat district (recovered from Sugarcane Corporation II and Long Hai Seafood Warehouse); 0.56 ha land plot in Ngai Giao town, Chau Duc district and 85.55 ha land plot of Cau Co May 2 Resort, Phuoc Trung ward, Ba Ria city.

Of these 8 plots, the province has so far completed the auction and recognized the winning auction result for the 3/2 Street Urban Area. The Tourist Market land (old) was auctioned twice but failed due to no one registering to participate. The remaining plots are carrying out procedures such as approving specific prices, approving detailed planning 1/500...

For the land areas under the authority of the People's Committees of districts and cities, it is expected that in 2025, 11 areas with an area of ​​2.12 hectares will be auctioned, the purpose of the auctioned land is residential land.

The nearly 60-hectare land of the 3/2 Street Urban Area Project, Vung Tau City has found its owner.

In addition, up to now, the People's Committees of districts and cities have also proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to transfer 30 land plots to the Provincial Land Fund Development Center for auction.

However, after review, only 10 areas are eligible for auction in 2025, 12 areas are expected to be auctioned in 2026, the remaining 8 areas are not eligible for auction or will be transferred to the Land Fund Development Center for management.

In order to soon put the land lots into auction according to the set plan, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province assigned the People's Committees of Ba Ria City and Vung Tau City to determine the time to approve the detailed planning 1/500 for the land lots under local management.

The Provincial People's Committee also assigned the People's Committees of districts and cities to review and determine a specific implementation roadmap and promptly carry out auctions for the land plots in the plan.
