According to the Southern Hydrometeorological Center, the low pressure trough with a northwest-southeast axis through the North and the middle of the East Sea has caused heavy rain over a large area in Saigon. In many areas such as the center of Ho Chi Minh City, Go Vap, Binh Thanh, Thu Duc City, rainfall was over 60 mm.
