Towards the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 23 and 24, units under the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command coordinated with local Party committees, authorities, and organizations to organize many meaningful and practical activities to pay tribute to heroic martyrs and families with meritorious services to the revolution.
In the western border area of the province, the working delegation of the Dak Lak Provincial Border Guard Command together with the Party Committee and authorities of Ia Rve commune, Ia Lop commune, Ia Rve Border Guard Station, Ea H'leo Border Guard Station organized visits, health check-ups, free medicine, and gifts for Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Xuan and policy families in the area. The delegation also visited and offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Ia Rve Border Guard Station.
In the eastern part of the province, Xuan Hoa Border Guard Station coordinated with the Party Committee, authorities and people of Song Cau ward to organize a general cleaning and incense offering at Xuan Thinh Martyrs Cemetery; visited, examined, gave medicine and gifts to the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Tran Thi An in Phu Duong village.
In Hoa Hiep Ward, Hoa Hiep Nam Border Guard Station coordinated with the Ward Youth Union to organize the restoration and cleaning of Nui Queo relic site, attracting more than 100 cadres, soldiers, union members, youths and local residents to participate. The unit also visited, examined and gave 5 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to families of martyrs and families with revolutionary contributions living in the area.
In addition, Xuan Dai Border Guard Station coordinated with Song Cau Skills Club, Xuan Dai Ward Youth Union and Xuan Tho Commune Youth Union; An Hai Border Guard Station coordinated with Tuy An Tay Commune Youth Union and Dom Dom Phu Yen Charity Association to offer incense and clean up the stele marking the establishment of Phu Yen Armed Security Company in Vinh Xuan village, Tuy An Tay commune; and presented 15 gifts to veterans and martyrs' families in difficult circumstances.
At the same time, coordinate with departments, branches, unions of Xuan Dai ward and Song Cau Medical Center to visit, give gifts, examine, and distribute medicine to 10 families of war invalids, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs in the area; coordinate with Dom Dom Phu Yen Charity Association to present 10 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND to 10 students in difficult circumstances in Tuy An Tay commune.
Border Guard Squadron 2 coordinated with Tuy Hoa Ward Youth Union to organize the program "Meal with mother - July gratitude" at the house of 92-year-old mother Tran Thi Buong, mother of martyr Nguyen Sum in An Nien village, Tuy Hoa ward. Youth Union members cleaned the house, wiped down the martyrs' altar, went to the market, prepared a meal to offer to the heroic martyrs' altar, visited, gave gifts, and encouraged the mother.
