According to Duc Trong District Party Committee, as of December 31, 2023, the entire district Party Committee has 63 grassroots party organizations, including 43 grassroots party cells; 20 grassroots party committees with 275 party cells directly under the grassroots party committee. Since the beginning of the term, party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations at all levels in the district have thoroughly grasped and concretized the viewpoints, policies and orientations of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, resolutions of the Central, provincial and district levels, in order to focus on implementing political tasks, strengthening Party building and rectification, building a strong political system, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of party committees, party organizations and cadres and party members. The organization and arrangement of a streamlined apparatus has initially achieved positive results; the effectiveness and efficiency of state agencies' management have been improved; Mass mobilization work, activities of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations have many innovations and are more substantial... The Party's inspection, supervision, and discipline work, and the implementation of the Party's Charter are serious, strict, and achieve positive results.

The District Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee have focused on leading and directing the serious implementation of key tasks, focusing on breakthroughs according to the Resolution of the National Congress of Delegates and the resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and the District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. On the other hand, continue to promote administrative reform, streamline the payroll, restructure the staff, civil servants and public employees in accordance with job positions, improve the quality of the staff, civil servants and public employees; encourage and protect dynamic, creative staff who dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to face difficulties and challenges; focus on reviewing, creating sources and developing human resources, especially high-quality human resources, human resources in areas where the locality is lacking and weak such as: information technology, architecture, construction, finance, land, etc. to build a team of staff, civil servants and public employees with sufficient qualifications and capacity to meet the requirements of tasks in the new period.

In particular, regarding the results of implementing breakthroughs according to the Resolution of the 13th District Party Congress, the District Party Committee and the Standing Committee of Duc Trong District Party Committee have directed to promote the development of trade and services, attract investment in building a trade center, small supermarkets in the area, complete the market system in communes, continue to invest in restaurants and hotels; pay attention to developing services, especially outdoor tourism. Continue to direct the development of agriculture towards high technology, smart agriculture, organic agriculture, linking production according to the value chain, building brands and labels of agricultural products, especially building 9 local OCOP products.

At the same time, focus on building a project to socialize waste treatment and environmental protection; increase the area of green trees, complete 11 more parks in communes and towns; continue to direct afforestation and scattered tree planting according to plan. In addition, focus on directing the construction of e-government and have issued a digital transformation program in the district for the period 2021-2025 for implementation; establish the district IOC Smart Operations Center; focus on training, fostering, and building a team of cadres, civil servants, and public employees to ensure qualifications and capacity.

In addition to the achievements, in the past term, the Duc Trong District Party Committee still had some limitations and shortcomings such as: The work of propagating some resolutions, policies of the Party, and laws of the State to Party members and the People was still limited. The provision of information, ideological orientation, public opinion, and the fight against the false and distorted arguments of hostile forces were sometimes and in some places not timely, and the number of news and articles was still limited.

The principles of organizing Party activities, especially the principles of "democratic centralism" and self-criticism, have not been implemented well at times and in some places; the quality of activities of some Party cells is not high, lacking depth, and the content is slow to be renewed. The leadership, combativeness, and educational nature of activities in a few Party organizations are still limited.

The leadership role of the Party; the management and operation of the authorities of communes and towns in general have not created any breakthroughs. The resolution and handling of complex and outstanding issues that have arisen are still confusing; the results of administrative reform in some places have not really paid due attention. The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the Central Committee (term XII, XIII) in some localities and bases have not gone into depth, so they have not created a widespread influence. There are still cases where cadres and party members are not serious in setting an example, and still violate things that party members are not allowed to do, leading to disciplinary action...
