TPO – Storks flying all over the sky, countless wild animals were recorded in the forest known as the "green gem" of Ha Tinh province.

Vu Quang National Park was established in 2002 and was recognized as an “ASEAN Heritage Park” in 2018 with an area of over 57,000 hectares spanning Vu Quang, Huong Khe and Huong Son districts. Vu Quang National Park (Ha Tinh province) is known as one of the most biodiversity centers in Vietnam.

This place has extremely diverse and rich animal and plant ecosystems, with wild and majestic primeval forests.

This place is also considered a "home" for wild animals. Every year, this place receives about 300 - 400 individuals from people and agencies, units. Along with that, the functional sector has also released 250 - 300 individuals back to the natural environment in the garden.

The park has the presence of many species endemic to both Vietnam and Laos. Among them are typical, precious and rare species such as: saola, large-antlered muntjac, striped rabbit, brown-shanked douc langur, black gibbon, white-tailed pheasant, horned viper, Northern tree frog...

Here, 1,829 species of higher plants belonging to 813 genera with 217 families were also identified, recording the presence of 94 species of mammals belonging to 26 families, 315 species of birds, 58 species of reptiles, 31 species of amphibians, 88 species of bony fish, 316 species of butterflies, 73 species of ants and 28 species of spiders.
