Therefore, in the hot season this year, consumers tend to invest in buying new electrical appliances to serve their family's meals such as: freezers, hot and cold water dispensers, fruit juicers or some types of air purifiers such as humidifiers, air purifiers... to take care of the health of family members, improving the quality of life.

The service is popular, and many people's income has increased significantly. Many air conditioner repairmen said that this year, the price of air conditioner installation and maintenance services has increased slightly by about 10% compared to last year. Specifically, the price of air conditioner maintenance ranges from 300,000 - 500,000 VND/unit, the price of air conditioner installation is similar depending on the capacity of the machine. For electric fans and air conditioners, the cost of repair and maintenance depends on each product, ranging from 50,000 VND to 200,000 VND/unit (depending on the type). Mr. Tran Van Thanh, an electronic and refrigeration repair and maintenance worker in Group 2, Le Hong Phong Ward (Phu Ly City) said: For about a month now, I have not finished all the work. During the day, I maintain and install air conditioners for offices and families, and at night, when I come home, I take the time to repair and clean electric fans for customers until late at night. In this job, we only rely on 3-4 months of the hot season a year. During the peak of the summer, I can earn 2-3 million VND/day. The job of repairing air conditioners brings high income but is very hard. In addition, the danger and risk also increase when having to maintain and install air conditioners in high places of buildings during extremely hot days.

Diversify the market of food and drinks to cool down

A quick market survey shows that on the shelves of supermarkets, shopping malls, and large grocery stores, the product structure has changed significantly since the beginning of summer. Currently, most of the space in the store is prioritized for displaying beverage products with a variety of items such as soft drinks, fruit juices, cooling teas, plant-based milks, etc. At stores and supermarkets, these shelves are also noted as attracting the most customers to visit and shop. Regarding the trend of consumers using soft drinks, store owners said that customers increasingly prefer cooling teas extracted from natural ingredients such as green tea and herbs. Fruit juices, cooling teas, artichokes, aloe vera tea, lemon tea, pink guava, strawberries, peaches, and products that supplement and support increased resistance such as Probi, Yakult, etc. are also cooling products that customers are interested in and choose a lot. This comes from the fact that people are increasingly concerned about health issues and focus on consuming clean, safe food products.

Mr. Cao Minh Duong, manager of the Winmart+ supermarket system in Ha Nam, said: The shelves in the central location of the Winmart+ stores now sell a variety of soft drinks, the most popular being soft drinks from the brands Coca Cola, Pepsi, Number One, green tea, fruit tea of ​​all kinds... In addition, the counters selling fresh food, fresh vegetables, imported fruits, pre-processed soups such as oysters, mussels, clams... are also constantly being replenished with new products every day to meet the consumption needs of customers during the hot days. These are the items with high sales revenue of the supermarket in recent days.

Hot weather with high temperatures also makes drinks made from fresh vegetables, tubers and fruits chosen by many consumers to cool down. On most major roads of Phu Ly city such as Bien Hoa, Nguyen Van Troi, Truong Chinh, Le Cong Thanh, Ly Thuong Kiet, Le Loi..., people can easily choose to buy a cup of soft drink at roadside stalls or mobile carts with prices ranging from 10-30,000 VND/cup. The list of drinks is quite rich and diverse such as: sugarcane juice, kumquat tea, lemon tea, coconut water, smoothies, vegetable, tubers and fruit juices... Ms. Dinh Thi Hanh, owner of a coffee shop on Hoang Van Thu street (Phu Ly city) said: I have been in the coffee and beverage business for nearly ten years now, but never before has the number of customers buying summer cooling drinks been as high as this year. To meet customer demand, my shop's cooling drinks are increasingly diverse and new dishes are always added. Since the beginning of summer, the number of customers ordering by phone and requesting home delivery has been higher than the number of customers using the service at the shop. There are many days when I can't keep up with the sales... Among them, products made from yogurt, juice, and smoothies are very popular with consumers.

In addition, the market for anti-heat products such as sun protection clothing, sun glasses, sunscreen; beach wear; swimming pool services; pet care... has also grown strongly since the beginning of the hot season.
