From November 9 to December 31, Saigontourist Travel Services Company Limited continues to welcome 9 international cruise ships with more than 25,000 multinational tourists.
By the end of 2025, the airline will serve a total of 75,000 cruise passengers to Vietnam on routes from Ho Chi Minh City and the West, Central (Hue, Hoi An, Da Nang), Nha Trang and the North (Ha Long, Hai Phong, Hanoi ).
Specifically, on November 9 and 10, two ships, Celebrity Millenium with more than 2,000 passengers and Celebrity Solstice with more than 3,000 passengers from the US, Canada, UK, and Australia, will dock at Phu My port (HCMC). The tourists will take turns participating in sightseeing tours in HCMC, Cu Chi, Can Gio, and My Tho. In addition, tourists will also follow the itinerary of HCMC - Hue - Ha Long.
At the peak of November 18, Saigontourist Travel simultaneously welcomed 3 international cruise ships, including: Celebrity Solstice and Star Navigator - docking at Ha Long port (Quang Ninh); Star Voyager - docking at Cam Ranh port (Khanh Hoa), serving a total of more than 6,000 international guests of many nationalities, mobilizing more than 100 45-seat vehicles and tour guides in English, German, French, Chinese...
At domestic stops, tourists will also visit Hue, Hoi An, My Son, Ba Na, My Khe, Da Nang, with many unique cultural experiences such as cycling around Hoi An ancient town, learning to cook traditional Vietnamese dishes...
Mr. Phan Xuan Anh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Du Ngoao Viet Company - said that this November, the company welcomed many luxury cruise ships back with a sharp increase in output compared to the same period last year. The ships mainly dock at Saigon or Hiep Phuoc ports, so it is quite convenient for city exploration tours.
"According to the rule, the cruise tourism season lasts from October to April next year. Since the pandemic, the number of visitors has remained stable even during the low season. Therefore, cruise tourism has recovered quickly since last year and 2025 is the time to accelerate, it is estimated that it can reach double the growth rate compared to the same period last year," Mr. Xuan Anh assessed.
After the incident of ships entering Ho Chi Minh City being unable to dock in October 2025, the announced schedule of ships arriving in Ho Chi Minh City has now returned to normal, bringing tens of thousands of international tourists to the city in the last months of the year.
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism said that entering the last quarter of the year, Ho Chi Minh City tourism continues to maintain positive growth momentum, creating the premise for the peak period at the end of the year.
The city is focusing on preparing large-scale international events, strengthening regional connectivity and promoting in key markets, while perfecting the coordination mechanism after implementing the two-tier government model and merging three localities.
In October 2025, Ho Chi Minh City welcomed about 705,000 international visitors, bringing the total number of international visitors in the first 10 months of the year to 6.59 million, reaching 65.9% of the target for the whole year 2025. Domestic tourists in the month reached about 3.9 million, bringing the total number of domestic visitors in 10 months to more than 33 million, completing 66.2% of the yearly plan.
Tourism revenue in October is estimated at VND23,437 billion, bringing the total revenue in the first 10 months of the year to VND208,066 billion, equivalent to 71.7% of the yearly target of VND290,000 billion.
