Warm Great Unity Day in Ho Chi Minh City

On October 9, Ward 28, Tan Son Hoa Ward (HCMC) enthusiastically organized the National Great Unity Day 2025. Attending was Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of HCMC People's Committee.

At the festival, Ward 28 honored typical examples of "Good people, good deeds", and presented trees and gifts to support households in difficult circumstances.

The new feature this year is that the neighborhood has arranged a digital transformation kiosk and a “Great Solidarity” kiosk right in the residential area, helping people easily access digital technology . Youth union members and ward police directly guide people to operate on the public service portal, create electronic identification accounts, look up administrative records as well as identify online fraud tricks.

The festival atmosphere was made more exciting with price stabilization booths, introducing high-quality Vietnamese products, the "Spreading love" zero-dong booth and many handicraft making experience areas, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and sharing in the community...

Speaking at the Festival, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung highly appreciated the results that Tan Son Hoa Ward and Ward 28 have achieved in the past time. He requested the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front of the ward and all the people to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, innovate the content and methods of operation, and pay more attention to improving people's lives.

Mr. Dung emphasized that in the coming period, the locality needs to continue to care for and support disadvantaged households, and mobilize social resources to help the disadvantaged escape poverty and stabilize their lives.

At the same time, it is necessary to encourage creativity and enthusiastic work, contributing to economic recovery and development; at the same time, strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to maintain environmental hygiene, build green - clean - beautiful, safe and friendly neighborhoods and alleys.

These activities need to be associated with the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" and events commemorating the 80th anniversary of the first General Election Day.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee also noted that the locality should focus on preserving and promoting cultural values, building happy families, and aiming at comprehensive human development.

He suggested that the Front continue to innovate its content, strengthen coordination with socio- political organizations, listen to and promptly reflect the people's thoughts and aspirations to resolve difficulties in life. Along with that, it is necessary to proactively reward and replicate advanced models, spread the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and dedication in the community.

On the same day, hamlets 34, 35 and 36 of Tan Vinh Loc commune bustlingly organized the National Great Unity Day 2025 with the theme "National Unity Day". The festival atmosphere took place in a joyful, warm atmosphere, filled with the colors of flags, banners and slogans.

At the festival, people together reviewed the glorious 95-year tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, listened to reports on the results of patriotic emulation movements, building cultural life, new rural areas and civilized urban areas in residential areas.

On this occasion, many gifts were presented to households in difficult circumstances; outstanding groups and individuals were honored for their positive contributions to the movement "Good people, good deeds", spreading the spirit of solidarity, attachment and affection of local people.

In particular, people and organizations have also donated to support people in flood-affected areas, demonstrating the tradition of "mutual love" of the Vietnamese people.

In the coming time, hamlets 34, 35, 36 aim to continue promoting the strength of national solidarity, joining hands to build a civilized, safe and affectionate residential area. People in the hamlet practice the spirit of "helping each other", supporting poor and disadvantaged households with concrete actions such as contributing small capital, contributing working days, helping to repair houses, and donating food when necessary.

At the same time, respond to the movement to build a "green - clean - beautiful - safe" environment by cleaning the area in front of the house, sorting garbage at the source, not littering on the streets, canals and planting more trees.

Along with that, people compete in labor, production, apply clean and economical production models, participate in technical training, support each other to increase income and reduce poverty sustainably. Families join hands to maintain security and order, participate in self-management models, educate their children to obey the law, contributing to strengthening internal solidarity.
