TPO - The Ministry of Education and Training has just decided to extend the system opening time for candidates to continue confirming university admission for the first round of 2024.

According to the 2024 enrollment plan, 5:00 p.m. on August 27 is the deadline for candidates to confirm enrollment on the General Enrollment Support System (System).

However, according to the Ministry of Education and Training, through feedback from training institutions and candidates, there are currently a number of candidates who, when enrolling directly at the school, discovered that they had not confirmed their enrollment on the system.

To facilitate candidates, the Ministry of Education and Training announced that it will continue to open the System for candidates to complete admission confirmation procedures before 5:00 p.m. on August 31.

Previously, at the end of the online admission confirmation period on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission portal (5:00 p.m. on August 27), 551,479 candidates nationwide confirmed their admission.

According to a quick report from the Ministry of Education and Training, in 2024, the whole country will have 733,652 candidates registering for university admission on the system.

After virtual filtering, 673,586 candidates passed the first round, reaching over 91% of the number of candidates registered for admission.

By 5:00 p.m. on August 27, the deadline for online admission confirmation on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission system (after this time, candidates who do not confirm admission will be considered to have refused the opportunity to be admitted in the first round), the whole country had 551,479 candidates confirming their admission.

Thus, compared to the number of admitted candidates, the number of candidates who confirmed their admission reached nearly 82%. The number of candidates who did not confirm their admission, i.e. refused to be admitted in the first round, was over 122 thousand candidates.
