According to the People's Committee of Ba Vi commune, the locality inspected the field and recorded three dangerous locations: a landslide area of about 5,000 m³ of soil, a crack 30 m long, 0.3-0.5 m wide, and a water hole with water flowing down from above.
Ba Vi Commune People's Committee said that if heavy rain continues, the risk of landslides will increase, directly affecting households in Ta Noat village and some households in Ta Gam village (Son Ky commune) at the foot of the mountain. Previously, in 1986, this area also experienced serious landslides.
The locality is closely monitoring weather developments, preparing evacuation plans in case of floods, and at the same time requesting the Provincial People's Committee to support necessities and temporary relocation costs, as well as coordinating with departments and branches to find long-term solutions to ensure people's safety.
