The project was developed by a group of students (including: Tran Ngoc Bao Chau, Tran Ngoc Nguyen Khang, Nguyen Thien Nhan, Le Canh Hoang, class 9A, iSchool Quang Tri International Integration School) aiming to convert household waste into electrical energy for daily life, contributing to reducing environmental pollution and encouraging the community to participate in waste classification. The idea received high appreciation from the Jury of STEM-AI experts for its practical application and sustainable value.

Previously, the EcoFuture team participated in a training series in Da Nang City, receiving direct guidance from Samsung technology experts and STEM mentors. Thereby, practicing design thinking, critical thinking, presentation and teamwork skills.
The "Samsung Solve for Tomorrow 2025" contest is an annual event organized by Samsung Vietnam to encourage middle and high school students nationwide to apply STEM-AI-Design thinking knowledge to solve social problems. In 2025, the contest lasted 8 months (from March to October), attracting more than 7,000 students, 2,500 teachers and 2,625 creative ideas.

The EcoFuture team's achievement continues the impressive series of results of iSchool Quang Tri International Integration School after the school's Farmer 4.0 team won the 2024 Prospective Award with the project "IoT growing cordyceps mushrooms".
