TPO - In response to the launch of the 2024 Summer Volunteer Campaign, the Youth Union branches at all levels in Nghe An province have launched 75 projects and 500 tasks with more than 16,000 young union members participating. The estimated total resources mobilized throughout the province is over 8 billion VND.

On May 25th, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized the launching ceremony of the 2024 Summer Volunteer Campaign in the mountainous district of Con Cuong. Simultaneously, many districts and towns throughout the province also held launching ceremonies and implemented various activities in response to the campaign.

According to statistics, in response to the launching ceremony of the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, the Youth Union branches at all levels in Nghe An province launched 75 projects and 500 youth volunteer tasks with the participation of more than 16,000 Youth Union members.

This includes focusing on establishing volunteer teams linked to political tasks and the practical needs of each locality and unit; concentrating on particularly difficult and remote areas, ethnic minority regions, border areas, communes building new rural areas, and youth settlement villages; and effectively implementing the Central Youth Union's "3 linkages" policy, which includes linking forces, linking areas, and linking communities.

In response to the launch of the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, Nghe An province has renovated and repaired more than 20 km of rural roads.
