According to a representative of Tre Publishing House, most of the works of the late scholar Vuong Hong Sen are documents that he painstakingly collected and recorded. This is a valuable source of historical and cultural documents for those who want to learn about culture and life in the South through the eyes of a witness to the times.
Deputy Director and Editor-in-Chief of Tre Publishing House Nguyen Thanh Nam emphasized: “We pay special attention to and prioritize research books. For researcher Nguyen Van Hau, we chose to sign a copyright transfer with his family for 5 years to have the conditions and time to collect his works that were published sporadically and bring them to a “source” for the “midwife” to easily take care of and invest in.”
Previously, Tre Publishing House was also a pioneer in purchasing lifetime copyrights of works by many famous writers and researchers: Son Nam, Nguyen Dinh Dau, Trang The Hy, Tran Kim Trac... This cooperation helps prevent counterfeit books, respects copyright to ensure that authors' income is not lost. "Obviously, all parties benefit. Because when a publisher chooses someone to cooperate with, they all have a strategy to develop communication for that author and work, and know when the most appropriate time to publish a book is to bring the work to the public, helping readers to access it easily," said Mr. Le Thieu Nhon.

Highly appreciating the benefits of franchising, poet Nguyen Phong Viet, a best-selling author, believes that this is the right direction. “Publishers are business entities, they have a lot of experience in the market, and have available capital, so they can easily find directions and investment roadmaps for authors. Not only older authors but also young writers hope that this model will be developed and replicated,” Nguyen Phong Viet shared.
