Attending and speaking at the Congress, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized: The commendable achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front system in Quang Nam province during the past term are clear, authentic, and vivid evidence of the nurturing, consolidation, and strengthening of the great national unity.
This has made a significant contribution to the achievements in socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, and building the Party and political system of the provincial Party committee.
Building on the achievements of the previous term, in the new term, the Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels will continue to truly be the center of unity, gathering all strata of the people and all social forces; mobilizing all strata of the people to achieve high unity in thought and action, and contributing their intellect and efforts to the cause of building and sustainably developing the province.
“The Vietnam Fatherland Front must truly be a two-way bridge between the Party, the government, and the people, a common home where everyone can express their voices and aspirations. It should not only convey policies and guidelines in a one-way manner, but also encourage contributions from the people, especially creative and vibrant ideas from practical experience. It must be open-minded, listen to, and respect even dissenting opinions, creating genuine consensus,” said Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet.
Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet suggested that the Fatherland Front at all levels should innovate its thinking, methods, and ways of mobilizing the people in a way that is inclusive, comprehensive, focused, and appropriate to the practical situation.
Simultaneously, we must improve the quality, effectiveness, and widespread impact of patriotic emulation campaigns and movements launched by the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front, guided by the motto "Think truthfully, speak truthfully, act truthfully, achieve truthful results, and ensure the people truly benefit," aiming at the core objective of bringing tangible benefits to the people.
"In practice, the province has many good and effective approaches stemming from the creativity and contributions of the people in various fields of socio -economic development. The Fatherland Front needs solutions to summarize, draw lessons from, and replicate these practices throughout the province so that many other places can apply and follow them."
Actively offering suggestions to the Party and government on policy formulation, acting as a sharp and sincere critic for the Party and government, helping them to review and improve, make more accurate decisions, and better protect the legitimate rights and interests of the people.
"Frontline officials must always bear in mind that the people will only listen to and trust them when they truly trust them, when they are truly convincing role models. Therefore, they must constantly train and cultivate themselves, becoming shining examples that the people love, cherish, respect, and benefit from," emphasized Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet.
High expectations
Many delegates attending the Congress expressed great confidence in the results of the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province, and were pleased with the contents set forth in the Congress Resolution.
Coor Thi Ban (representative of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Tay Giang district), the youngest delegate attending the Congress, shared that in recent times, the work of disseminating information and mobilizing all strata of the people to participate in implementing many major policies of the Party and laws of the State has not only helped develop the life, economy and society in border areas and ethnic minority areas, but also contributed to maintaining security and firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.
"As a delegate to the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Nam province, term 2024-2029, I have high expectations for the Front's work program, hoping it will continue to closely follow the actual situation and be deeply involved in every aspect of life to become a center of unity and promote the people's right to self-governance."
"I believe that the Front will continuously innovate, promote national unity, enhance the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy, help people in border areas and ethnic minority regions in particular, and the entire province in general, to boost economic development, effectively carry out social supervision and criticism, for a green and sustainable Quang Nam," Coor Thi Ban shared.
Expressing his honor to represent his fellow countrymen living abroad at the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Nam Province, Mr. Mai Phuc, Chairman of the Quang Nam Hometown Association in Ho Chi Minh City, affirmed that the Front in the new term will continue to build and connect the community of Quang Nam people living abroad with their homeland. Mr. Mai Phuc said he was deeply moved and highly appreciated the great attention given by the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to his fellow countrymen living abroad.
"Over the past period, our compatriots living far from home have received the attention of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province. We remember that during extremely difficult times, such as the COVID-19 pandemic in Ho Chi Minh City, our compatriots received care, support, and safe transportation back home, leaving a deep and lasting impression on those of us living far from home."
"Personally, I find that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has done a great deal of work effectively, spreading the values of our homeland, building and connecting the community of Quang Nam people living far from home. This congress brings many promises for the future regarding the work of the Fatherland Front, gathering and uniting, as well as contributing to building a more developed Quang Nam homeland," Mr. Mai Phuc expressed.
