Many good and creative ways

Implementing the study and following of Uncle Ho, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association has made signing a commitment to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style an important criterion to assess the responsibility of cadres and party members, especially leaders in the Party cell, trade union and specialized agencies of the Provincial Association. Through organizing the dissemination and signing of the commitment to the implementation content for cadres and party members, the Provincial Association's Party cell has enhanced the sense of responsibility, improved working capacity and attitude towards serving the people.

To spread actions and work to help the poor, from 2021, the Provincial Farmers' Association issued Instruction No. 04 on "Association bases help farmer members escape poverty sustainably". In which, it is determined that all poor households in the area are eligible for assistance from the Party Committee, government, and the whole society and have the regular responsibility of farmers' associations at all levels. Every year, the Provincial Association assigns a target for each association base to help 1 member household or farmer escape poverty.

Under the direction of the Provincial Farmers' Association, many units have good models and creative ways of doing things such as: Quynh Luu District Farmers' Association with the "Cow Bank" Program, Do Luong District Farmers' Association with the "Contribute bricks to build schools for children" Program...

Every year, the Party Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association has directed the Trade Union of the agency to propagate and mobilize each cadre, party member, civil servant and public employee in the agency to donate and support Tet for the poor with at least 1 day's salary; Support the prevention and fight against Covid-19 pandemic with 15.3 million VND; Implement the program "Wave and computer for children" launched by the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Bloc, all cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees in the agency have contributed 3 smartphones and directly given them to 3 students, children of farmer members in Ke Gai hamlet, Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district.

Farmers' associations at all levels have directed 37,237 association officials to become members of the "Community Covid-19 Team", directed the establishment and maintenance of 161 "Agricultural Product Consumption Connection Teams", 109 "Agricultural Support Teams", 48 points, 7 stores and 20 "Agricultural Product Consumption Connection Booths". More than 6,700 tons of agricultural products, food and 11.2 billion VND were contributed by farmers' associations in the province to support the work of epidemic prevention and control.

One of the activities promoted by the Association at all levels is poverty alleviation activities, through many forms of propaganda and mobilization of members to participate in the spirit of "the whole leaves cover the torn leaves", through the "Bricks of Love" Program, members contributed tens of thousands of bricks to help poor households build houses. Through the "Bricks of Love" Program launched by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association, farmers in the whole province registered to support 4.6 billion VND to build houses for poor farmers. From 2023 to December 2024, the Association at all levels mobilized cadres, farmer members, organizations and individuals to support the construction and repair of 374 houses, with a total donation of more than 5.4 billion VND.

Spread the models

Farmers' Associations at all levels in Nghe An have successfully implemented the movement "Farmers compete in good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty". On average, every year, over 300,000 member households register and over 150,000 member households achieve the title of "Good production and business" at all levels.

As a result, many good production and business households have emerged with large production scale, annual revenue of up to hundreds of billions of VND, creating jobs for many workers. Every year, good production and business farming households at all levels in the province have guided and disseminated knowledge and experience to over 1,000,000 workers; helped over 150,155 workers find jobs; effectively helped 88,089 households with difficulties in capital, technical materials, production and business experience.

To support members in economic development, the provincial farmers' association has supported the construction of 380 effective economic models. Many effective agricultural economic development models with high incomes have emerged, such as the model of growing safe vegetables according to VietGAP standards in Nghi Loc and Quynh Luu districts; growing safe oranges in Quy Hop, Con Cuong and Anh Son districts; processing seafood in Cua Lo; a model of raising white-leg shrimp using biosafety methods in Dien Chau district; Raising black chickens in Muong Long commune, Ky Son district; Chicken farming cooperative in Thanh Xuan commune, Thanh Chuong district; Fruit tree growing cooperative in Quang Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, etc.

In addition, farmers' associations at all levels actively mobilize farmers to participate in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas, contributing hundreds of billions of VND each year, donating tens of thousands of ^square meters of land, participating in labor days to renew, renovate and maintain traffic works, irrigation works, cultural works; and organizing many environmental protection communication activities.

Over the years, the association at all levels has guided and supported the construction of 1,495 environmental protection models, 886 models of organic waste classification at households, built 1,145 models of organic microbial fertilizer production from agricultural waste and by-products, produced 41,509 tons of organic fertilizer, with 16,243 farmer households participating; built 880 new rural standard gardens and 2,387 farmer model gardens in the direction of new rural standard gardens; 2,702 rows of "Farmers thank Uncle Ho" trees; 224 "Farmers thank Uncle Ho" tree gardens. Organizing the summary of the "Planting 1 million trees" program for the period 2021-2023, the results up to the time of the summary, the association at all levels has planted a total of 1,564,016 trees.

In addition, the Provincial Farmers' Association Standing Committee also launched a movement for farmers to plant trees to prevent landslides and improve the landscape of rivers; this movement was piloted by the Provincial Farmers' Association in Anh Son district in 2024. In 2025, the movement continued to be launched at all levels of the association and was actively responded to by officials, members, and farmers. By the end of April 2025: The whole province had planted 38,626 bamboo trees, meters in the districts of Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, Do Luong, and Con Cuong.

The Provincial Farmers' Association proposed the Provincial People's Committee to approve the Project "Propaganda, mobilization, guidance for farmers in production, business, and consumption of safe agricultural products and food in the period of 2020-2023". During the implementation of the project, the provincial Farmers' Associations coordinated to organize 107 training courses to equip knowledge on production, processing, business, and consumption of safe agricultural products and food for over 5,000 farmer members; built nearly 400 safe agricultural product production models; directed and supported the opening of 8 stores selling safe agricultural products and food in districts, cities, and towns.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association has developed and proposed the Provincial People's Committee to issue the Project "Propaganda, mobilization, and support for farmers to produce microbial organic fertilizers from agricultural by-products and waste in the period of 2023-2025". From 2021 to present, on average, each year, farmers in the whole province have produced about 40,000 tons of organic fertilizers from agricultural by-products and waste.

Along with that, the Provincial Farmers' Association focuses on promoting coordination activities with sectors and enterprises to improve the quality of support services for farmers in terms of capital, agricultural materials, vocational training, scientific and technical training, and job referral consulting to create more conditions to help farmers develop production and business.

Over the past 10 years, the Provincial Farmers' Association has directly opened 238 vocational training classes for 8,216 students. Farmers' Associations at all levels in the province have coordinated to organize 1,727 vocational training classes for 55,615 rural workers, 17,520 training classes to transfer scientific and technical advances to members and farmers. Coordinated to supply nearly 170,520 tons of fertilizer; more than 650,000 livestock and poultry breeds; nearly 2,680 tons of animal feed... worth more than 18 billion VND. The total capital of the Provincial Farmers' Support Fund increased by 86,685 billion VND, bringing the total capital of the Provincial Farmers' Support Fund to 111.2 billion VND with 33,935 borrowers.

The results achieved in the past 10 years are clear evidence of the continuous efforts of farmers' associations at all levels to study and follow Uncle Ho's example. In the coming time, the provincial Farmers' Association will focus on effectively implementing tasks to thoroughly grasp Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on patriotic emulation; innovate and diversify forms of propaganda and mobilization to cadres and farmer members to change awareness and action.

In addition, focus on building and maintaining effective learning and following of Uncle Ho; at the same time, promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals with good achievements, promote the tradition of patriotism, diligence, creativity in labor and production, strive to overcome difficulties and challenges to complete and exceed the set targets and tasks so that learning and following of Uncle Ho goes deeper and has a wide spread, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development goals.
