NTO - The second conference of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, term XI, 2024

On the morning of December 31, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held the second Conference of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XI, 2024 - 2029, to assess the situation and results of the implementation of the Front's tasks in 2024, propose a Program for coordination and unified action in 2025 and give opinions on a number of other important issues.

Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference. Attending the conference were comrades: Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Minh Luc, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

In 2024, the work of the Fatherland Front in the province achieved many positive results, which were recognized and highly appreciated by the Party Committee and the government; and the people agreed and responded. Notably, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province focused on successfully organizing the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and the 11th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029. Continue to promote digital transformation, improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization work to build the great national unity bloc among the people, among ethnic groups, religions, and overseas Vietnamese. Play a good role as a bridge between the Party Committee, government and the people. Continue to improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism. Proactively innovate methods of mobilizing resources to care for the poor, effectively and qualitatively implement the Housing Support Project for poor and near-poor households in the period of 2023 - 2025. Launch and organize the implementation of 173 projects and tasks to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, with a total budget of over 159 billion VND...

At the conference, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council announced the results of the 22nd Session of the Provincial People's Council and the results of the implementation of the Coordination Regulations between the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in 2024. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee informed the results of the implementation of the province's socio -economic development tasks in 2024 and a number of key tasks and solutions in 2025; the results of the implementation of the Coordination Regulations between the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in 2024. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee announced the dismissal of 2 members; appointed 2 additional members of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XI, and unanimously approved the Resolution of the 2nd Conference of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XI.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Pham Van Hau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Fatherland Front in the past year. Regarding the tasks of the Fatherland Front in 2025, he requested that all levels of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations focus on disseminating information about the Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Congress of the Party; major holidays and important political events. Disseminate information to create consensus among all classes of people on the policy of restarting the Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Project.

Thoroughly grasp and implement Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW of the 13th Party Central Committee on continuing to promote the tradition and strength of great national unity, building an increasingly prosperous and happy country. Better implement the work of mobilizing, gathering, and uniting people of all walks of life, compatriots of all ethnic groups, religions, and overseas Vietnamese; promote the role of religious dignitaries and prestigious representatives among ethnic minorities. Improve the quality, efficiency, and substance of social supervision and criticism work. Effectively implement campaigns and emulation movements chaired and coordinated by the Front; focus on social security activities, care for the poor and near-poor. Continue to promote digital transformation; innovate and diversify methods of operation. Pay attention to planning, training, and fostering; Building Front cadres with adequate qualities, capacity, and aspiration to contribute to meet the requirements of assigned tasks.

In his closing speech at the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee emphasized: Promoting the achieved results, in 2025, the Fatherland Front at all levels will continue to closely follow the content of the action program and political tasks of the province, always focusing on the grassroots, correctly and accurately identifying key and breakthrough tasks to strive to excellently complete the tasks, worthy of the trust of the Party Committee, the government and all classes of people in the province; contributing to consolidating and promoting the tradition and strength of the great national unity bloc, arousing the aspiration for development. Thereby, bringing Ninh Thuan homeland to develop more and more, together with the whole country entering a new era, the era of national development.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front awarded the "For the cause of great national unity" Medal to 2 individuals. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded the leading excellent emulation flag to the Thuan Nam District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; awarded certificates of merit to 27 collectives and 24 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the coordination and unified action program of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front in 2024.
