The online photo contest "Each Ao Dai - A beautiful story" launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union aims to honor the beauty of Vietnamese women in Ao Dai, while spreading traditional cultural values and national pride.
After nearly 2 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee received 1,729 entries from 25 provinces, cities and affiliated units, vividly reflecting the image of Vietnamese women in work, study, creativity and daily life.
Through the preliminary round, the Jury selected the 15 best works for the online voting round, attracting the participation and active interaction of a large number of cadres, members, women and the public.
Based on the voting results and final scores, the Jury selected 8 outstanding works to award prizes.

The work "Mother's Smile" won second prize nationwide at the photo contest "Each Ao Dai - A beautiful story".
Participating in the contest, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Women's Union had a work that won the Second Prize. That work is "Mother's Smile" by author Mai Mai Hoa, President of the Nga Son Commune Women's Union. The main character in the photo is Vietnamese Heroic Mother Truong Thi Buoi (93 years old, Binh Ba village, Nga Son commune, Thanh Hoa province) appearing radiant and happy with her children and grandchildren.

The work was highly appreciated by the Organizing Committee and the Jury for its profound meaning when 3 generations of Vietnamese women appeared radiantly in traditional ao dai, a sacred symbol of a resilient past - peaceful present and a future full of hope.
