Mr. Le Van Lam, Dong Sinh village, after returning from working in Korea, had capital to invest in economic development.

In 2006, the family of Mr. Bui Van Tien, born in 1972, in Dong Sinh village, was one of the most difficult households in the village. The couple lived on a few barren fields all year round, not enough to feed 5 mouths. After much consideration, Mr. Tien saw that many people in the village went to work abroad in Malaysia, Qatar... and had a good income, so he discussed with his wife to borrow money from the bank and sell some of the property in the house to prepare documents to go abroad to work. After researching, Mr. Tien chose to go to Malaysia to work at a company specializing in repairing and maintaining machinery. Mr. Tien said: "At first, my income was about 7 million VND/month, then it increased to 20 million VND/month. I tried to save money to send back to my wife to pay off debt and raise my children. In 2017, I returned home after nearly 11 years of working in Malaysia."

With accumulated capital and professional experience, Mr. Tien returned to his hometown and opened a local electronics and refrigeration repair shop. With a stable job, Mr. Tien's family now has a stable economic life, and his children are fully educated. Realizing the effectiveness of labor export, Mr. Tien always encourages families with children of the right age to learn about official labor export programs to have the opportunity to change their lives. In 2017, Mr. Tien spent part of his savings for his son, Bui Van Doan (born in 1996), to go to Japan to work. With the job of designing drawings, Doan has an income of about 40 million VND per month.

Also from labor export, Mr. Le Van Lam, born in 1990, in Dong Sinh village, started his career in Korea in 2015. After studying the language and taking the entrance exam, he went to work at a high-tech mechanical workshop, with an income of nearly 100 million VND/month. In 2020, when his contract expired, he decided to return to his hometown to build his economy. Taking advantage of his savings, he built a deer farm to raise antlers and sell breeds. Thanks to proper care, the deer herd has grown well, harvesting antlers and selling breeds regularly. Currently, each year, he has an income of nearly half a billion VND from this model. Mr. Lam said: "Working abroad gives me capital and opens up development opportunities right in my homeland. The important thing is to know how to use savings in the right direction to create a sustainable livelihood."

Statistics show that at present, Mau Lam commune has nearly 400 workers working in countries such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan (China), Russia, Philippines... Each year, the amount of remittances sent to the locality is more than 100 billion VND. Thanks to the stable income from labor export, many households in Mau Lam commune have escaped poverty and become well-off. The good news is that people know how to use capital reasonably, invest in production, business, open factories and develop agriculture , create more jobs on the spot, contributing to promoting the local economy in a sustainable way.

Mr. Hoang Van Thuy, Chairman of Mau Lam Commune People's Committee, said: "The local government regularly coordinates with relevant units to promote propaganda and consultation, while creating conditions for workers to access preferential loans from the Social Policy Bank. Encourage people to participate in overseas labor programs, considering this a suitable development direction to increase income and accumulate experience. "We require people to go abroad for labor export in the official direction, avoiding leaving the country without permission, leading to risks. The goal is to help people have a stable source of income, accumulate experience, and when returning home, have conditions to continue economic development."
