Quan Son Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities has 233 students, 100% of whom are ethnic minorities. In addition to education , care, and nurturing, the school also focuses on traditional cultural education. Every Monday and Thursday, students wear traditional costumes. This is a regulation that the school strictly maintains, not only creating a beautiful school but also nurturing in students pride in their ethnicity. In addition, on holidays and Tet, the school organizes many cultural, artistic, physical education and sports activities imbued with the traditional culture of ethnic minorities, such as: Competitions in making ethnic dishes; performing traditional ethnic costumes; competitions in playing ram, pushing sticks, throwing balls, tug of war...
Lo Ha Khanh Linh, a 7A student at Quan Son Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, said: "Along with providing knowledge, teachers also teach us to understand the traditional cultural values of ethnic groups. Through that, it helps us understand, appreciate and take practical actions to preserve and promote cultural identity."
Teacher Le Duy Dung, Principal of Quan Son Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, said: In recent times, the school has always focused on educating cultural traditions by taking students on field trips to visit historical sites, cultural heritages, and scenic spots in the area and the province. Displaying artifacts such as ethnic costumes, household items, gongs, etc. in the school's traditional room for students to visit, learn about, and use in the school's cultural and artistic activities.
At Quan Son Primary and Secondary School, traditional cultural education for students is integrated into extracurricular activities so that students can understand the cultural identity of the nation. At the same time, the school also requires teachers to actively learn and grasp the traditional cultural features of each ethnic group in the area to have a deep understanding to teach students.

Not only Quan Son Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, Quan Son Secondary School and Secondary School, traditional cultural education is also being implemented by schools in Quan Son commune through integration into subjects such as: Literature, History, Geography, Local Education, Civic Education... with contents introducing traditional festivals, customs, folk games, folk songs, and unique folk dances of ethnic groups in the commune. Mr. Le Huy Ha, Head of the Department of Culture and Society , People's Committee of Quan Son Commune, said: In order to achieve positive results in educating students about traditional culture, Quan Son Commune continues to direct schools to regularly organize activities to visit and study at historical and cultural relics and scenic spots. Encourage schools to establish and maintain folk culture clubs, creating an environment for students to exchange, learn and improve their understanding of national cultural identity.
