Head of Da Ninh Residential Group Nguyen Hung Vinh said: “The cultural house is always bustling. People consider this a common space for the whole community. Sometimes it organizes meetings, disseminates policies, laws of the Party and State; deploys activities, discusses the affairs of the street. Sometimes it hosts cultural and sports exchanges of people. The cultural house also has bookshelves and outdoor sports equipment for the elderly and children, so it is suitable for all ages and all activities. In order for the cultural house to function and be preserved, the village has agreed to always keep the cultural house open. At the same time, assigns organizations to be responsible for maintaining activities at the cultural house and cleaning up the environment to ensure hygiene.”
In Hoang Phu commune, along with the communal house system, the cultural house has become a place for community activities closely associated with the lives of the people. It is the active participation of the people that creates sustainable vitality for grassroots culture. To do that, Hoang Phu Commune has promoted socialization, invested in upgrading the village cultural house system, equipped with more speakers, tables and chairs, projectors, small stages and encouraged associations and organizations to use this space for community activities. Thanks to that, not only on holidays and Tet but every day, cultural and sports activities still take place vigorously at the cultural house.”
Currently, the whole province has 4,302 villages, hamlets and neighborhoods with cultural houses (reaching 98.7%). Thanks to the investment of the State and socialized resources, cultural houses have been newly built and upgraded to meet standards, meeting the cultural needs of the people. Most cultural houses have been put into use, becoming places to propagate and mobilize people to implement the policies, laws of the Party and the State, to practice a civilized lifestyle, and to build a great national unity bloc. All activities of the community, associations and organizations take place at cultural houses. Thanks to activities at cultural houses, people are increasingly aware of the correctness and responsibility in implementing the policies and regulations of the Party, the State and local movements.
