A 10th grade student is in critical condition after being assaulted by a group of friends.

NTAT was sent home for care due to poor prognosis.

According to the report of Thanh Hoa Agricultural College, at about 8:55 am - recess time of the 2nd period on Friday morning, October 31, 2025, in classroom E302 (3rd floor), while student NTAT (15 years old, residing in Dong Son ward, Thanh Hoa province), studying in class DCN65B2 majoring in Industrial Electricity (grade 10 - GDTX), was sitting watching his phone when he was suddenly attacked by a group of grade 11 students on the 2nd floor of the same building and quickly ran out of the classroom.

Immediately after the incident, some teachers on the same floor taking a break and students in the class took AT to the medical room for first aid.

Realizing the complexity of the situation and the critical condition of the student, in addition to organizing first aid, the school leaders called An Viet Hospital (Trieu Son commune) to send a car to take the student to the emergency room and notify the student's family.

Immediately afterwards, AT was taken to the emergency room, then transferred to Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital for intensive treatment.

On October 31, the school leadership held an urgent meeting, sent staff and teachers to Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital to visit and encourage the family and partially support the treatment costs for the victim student.

The school also promptly reported the incident to the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province and requested the Trieu Son Commune Police to investigate.

By noon of the same day, Trieu Son Commune Police had verified and worked with 4 11th grade students involved in the assault of NTAT. The case is still under investigation and clarification.

Although doctors and nurses had been dedicated to treating the child, due to the seriousness of the injury and poor prognosis, on the afternoon of November 1, Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital asked the family to take NTAT home for care.

Currently, Thanh Hoa Agricultural College is continuing to send cadres, teachers, and staff to visit and support the family in emergency care, take care of students, and coordinate and support the police in the investigation of the case.
