In the 1960s and 1970s, she was a familiar face in classic films of Vietnamese revolutionary cinema such as: Chung mot dong song (the first film of revolutionary cinema), Vo chong A Phu, Chi Tu Hau, Cuoc chien do con tiep tien, Truyen vo chong anh Luc, Sao thang tam, Chuyen xe bao tap, Chi Dau, Lang Vu Dai ngay nay ... and later the films: La ngoc cang vang, Nua trung xuan, Dem hoi Long Tri, Dong Duong...

With her sharp appearance and lively acting style, she is especially suitable for villain roles and has left a strong impression in classic roles such as Nghi Que's wife ( Chi Dau ), Ba Kien's wife ( Vu Dai Village at that time ), Pho Doan ( Sao thang Tam )...

The terrible, harsh image of Nghi Que's wife in the scene where Chi Dau sells her child and dog, through the sharp performance of Meritorious Artist Mai Chau and her extremely harmonious coordination with famous actress Le Van (as Chi Dau) in the classic film Chi Dau , helped push the drama of the film to its climax and brought tears to many generations of audiences, becoming one of the most classic scenes of early Vietnamese cinema.
