The opening performance of 3 major programs on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday is a beautiful and unforgettable memory in Ha Quynh Nhu's professional life.
The opening ceremony of the 2025 Lotus Village Festival and the inauguration of the statue of Uncle Ho visiting his hometown (May 15) will begin. Two days later, on the evening of May 17, the female artist will continue to appear in the special program “Take Off” of Vietnam Television with the theme “Stay in May”.
Next, the female singer took on the role of opening the special art night "You are Ho Chi Minh" on the evening of May 18, taking place solemnly at Ba Dinh Square - in front of the President's Mausoleum.
It is not only an honor for a young artist but also shows the recognition of experts for the serious, dedicated and emotional journey that Ha Quynh Nhu is pursuing with folk music, especially Vi Giam folk songs.
Sharing her feelings about singing the opening act for three major programs in a row, Ha Quynh Nhu said: “I feel honored, proud and… very nervous. Especially in the program “You are Ho Chi Minh” at Ba Dinh Square, where the leaders attentively followed each performance. But that sacredness was a great source of motivation for me to perform with all my feelings. It was this great honor and pride that helped me dispel all the pressure to sing better.”
Not only did she impress with her three memorable opening performances, Ha Quynh Nhu also left her mark through the strong spread on social networks after the shows. She received a series of messages and wishes from domestic audiences and overseas Vietnamese from the US and Japan, along with videos sharing her feelings about the performances. "I was really happy, I couldn't sleep because everyone welcomed me so warmly," she said emotionally.

Not hiding her pride in the Vi Giam folk songs of her homeland, Ha Quynh Nhu believes that the appeal of this genre comes from its lyricism, romance and cultural cohesion. “As a young person, I always focus on innovating and developing folk songs to suit the digital age, so that young audiences can access them more easily,” she said.
And above all, Ha Quynh Nhu hopes that when her name is mentioned, the audience will immediately think of Vi Giam - the folk art form that she is passionate about, proud of, and is tirelessly pursuing.
Ha Quynh Nhu came to Vi Giam tunes thanks to her mother. Since she was little, when she was only 3-4 years old, Nhu was taken by her mother to all the communes to watch performances, and her mother also participated in singing folk songs with the girls in the commune's art troupe. At that time, Ha Quynh Nhu could not speak fluently but she knew the folk songs by heart. At the age of 5, she could sing the song "A song of the heart of a Ha Tinh person".
For many years, Ha Quynh Nhu has been quietly making efforts to put her Vi Giam performance clips on social networking platforms. These efforts have brought results, Vi Giam through Ha Quynh Nhu's voice has spread very strongly on YouTube, Facebook, Tiktok platforms. Just counting the song "Dem nghe hat cau do dua nho Bac" alone, after 1 day of posting on Ha Quynh Nhu's personal Facebook, it reached more than 3 million views, nearly 1 million views on Ha Quynh Nhu's Tiktok, nearly 400k on VTV's Tiktok, not to mention on the pages of many other units and fans...
