9X female monster uses "strange trick" to cheat victim out of more than 7 billion VND

On the afternoon of September 27, according to information from the Ministry of Public Security , the Investigation Police Agency of Nghe An Province Police announced that it had arrested Nguyen Thi Thoan (born in 1992, residing in Dong Van commune, Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province) to investigate and clarify the act of fraud and property appropriation.

According to the investigation documents, Nguyen Thi Thoan had an acquaintance with a woman residing in the same locality. When she knew that the victim was able to raise a large amount of money, Thoan spread the news to the victim that she had a reputable brother, good at business, with many relationships to invest in large real estate projects, generating high profits and was looking for people to contribute capital to invest in real estate.

To gain the victim's trust, Thoan sent photos of himself and the person he introduced as his brother, photos of construction sites, groundbreaking ceremonies, and land use rights certificates to the victim and lied that these were projects in which Thoan's brother was investing, and promised that these projects would generate profits of tens of billions of dong.

In addition, Thoan also informed the victim that the subject was a secretary, assigned by his brother to raise capital to transfer to his brother to invest in real estate. When there was a profit, Thoan would receive money from his brother and then return the principal and interest from the real estate to the investor.

Trusting the information that Thoan provided, the victim transferred money to the subject many times. The total amount that Thoan appropriated from the victim was more than 7.2 billion VND. Thoan used part of the entire amount to pay off debts and personal expenses.

To avoid becoming victims, the police agency recommends that people who want to buy land or invest in real estate should proactively verify the legality of the land. If buying through a broker, they need to carefully research personal information, proactively and directly participate in verifying all information in the contract with the authorities, and should not believe in the advertisements and enticements of the subject.

For projects with selling prices too low compared to the market, you need to be careful and carefully research information before investing money. During the process of buying and selling real estate, if you discover any abnormalities or suspicions about documents or red books showing signs of forgery, you need to report to the police for resolution.
