Eighth-grade female student in Bac Ninh was beaten by a group of students right inside the school.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The victim was grabbed by the hair, repeatedly hit on the head, violently pulled back and forth, and dragged across the floor by at least three female students. The school said the incident occurred on the morning of December 12th.

On December 17th, a video depicting school violence at Lim Secondary School (Tien Du commune, Bac Ninh province) went viral on social media.

According to the video, the incident occurred in the school's stairwell. A female student was grabbed by the hair by at least three other female students, repeatedly hit on the head, violently pulled back and forth, and dragged across the floor. Due to the relentless attack, the victim was unable to resist and could only cover her head and endure the assault.

Many students were standing around witnessing the incident, but no one intervened. Some even cheered them on.

On the same day, Ms. Dao Thi Lan, Principal of Lim Secondary School, confirmed that the incident occurred at the school on the morning of December 12th.

According to a report from Lim Secondary School to the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training and the Tien Du Commune People's Committee, the initial cause was determined to stem from a conflict and misunderstanding between an 8th-grade student and a group of 9th-grade students, leading to a physical altercation.

Regarding the victim's health condition, the school stated that she had been taken for examinations and scans three times. The examination results did not reveal any abnormal injuries.

Currently, the assaulted girl's health is stable, but her family is keeping her in the hospital for monitoring.

The principal of Lim Secondary School said that immediately after receiving the information, the school reported the incident to the competent authorities and coordinated with the local police to verify and clarify the matter.

The school has also reviewed and compiled a list of all students present at the time of the incident, as well as identified the person who filmed and disseminated the clip on social media, in order to facilitate disciplinary action in accordance with regulations.
