The 2025 grade 10 entrance exam in Ha Tinh took place over two days, June 3-4, with more than 16,400 candidates taking the exam at 36 examination councils. Of the total number of candidates taking the 2025-2026 grade 10 entrance exam, 15,516 registered for non-specialized public high schools, and 914 registered for Ha Tinh Specialized High School.
On today's exam day, the image of female student Quynh Nhu, a 9B student at Bac Hong Secondary School (Ha Tinh) wearing a mourning scarf to take the exam at Hong Linh High School (Hong Linh town, Ha Tinh province) moved and saddened many people.
Sharing with VietNamNet , Ms. Bui Thi Anh Ha, homeroom teacher of class 9B, Bac Hong Secondary School (Hong Linh town, Ha Tinh) said that yesterday morning (June 3), Nguyen Thi Quynh Nhu was a student in her homeroom class. Yesterday morning, she had to mourn her father.
According to Ms. Anh Ha, Quynh Nhu's situation is very pitiful, when one day before the 10th grade entrance exam, her father suddenly passed away. The shock of losing her father so suddenly made her almost fall into a state of despair.
In this situation, the homeroom teacher and family encouraged Quynh Nhu to suppress the pain of loss to complete the important exam in her student life.
"Quynh Nhu has good academic performance, her wish is to take the exam to enter Hong Linh High School. After the exam, she shared that she did quite well," Ms. Anh Ha informed.
