At the end of the final exam in the entrance exam for non-specialized public high schools in Hanoi , Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, said that it is expected that from July 4 to July 6 at the latest, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will complete grading and announce exam scores and benchmark scores to candidates.
According to Mr. Cuong, the new score this year is according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. From this year, the announcement of exam scores must be at the same time as the standard score instead of announcing exam scores first and standard score later like previous years.
To fulfill this requirement, according to Mr. Cuong, those responsible will have to make great efforts, even "working day and night" to promptly announce the results, meeting the expectations of candidates and people.

In the marking stage, Mr. Cuong affirmed that it is necessary to select the most experienced and responsible examiners, comply with the answers and marking instructions; to ensure the fairest and most objective test results for candidates, to avoid the phenomenon of "tight marking - loose marking"; and to not be subjective at any stage in the entire marking process.
There was an officer who took the exam but his father passed away and he couldn't come home in time for the funeral.
Director Tran The Cuong also shared that this year, the entrance exam for grade 10 of public high schools in Hanoi took place in a special context, the first year of the exam under the new generaleducation program, with a very large number of candidates, nearly 116,000 candidates, of which more than 102,000 candidates registered to enter public schools. This is the highest number in the country, creating no small pressure on the organization of the exam.
According to Mr. Cuong, many teachers and education officials have put aside their personal work and sacrificed their private lives to participate in making questions, invigilating exams, and supervising, ensuring absolute confidentiality and safety.
There are teachers in the quarantine area who are taking exams without exposure to sunlight or contact with the outside world. Their father passed away but they cannot return home for the funeral. The living conditions are very strict but everyone takes it seriously because of their responsibility for the exam.

Mr. Cuong also said: "The studious spirit of Hanoi students this year is clearly demonstrated. There are 12 candidates with health problems such as broken arms and legs, who are being treated for illness but still registered to take the exam.
There was even a candidate who had to have an appendectomy last night, but this morning still insisted on going to school to take the final exam and then go back to the hospital for further treatment. Although the Steering Committee was very confused, but in response to the earnest wishes of the family and the student, along with the cooperation of the medical staff and the police, we organized for the student to take the exam under the supervision of medical staff , ensuring absolute safety."
At the end of this year's non-specialized high school entrance exam, the official exam questions for all three subjects of literature, math, and English in Hanoi received positive reviews with many innovations and good differentiation, in the direction of promoting the candidates' abilities and creativity.
According to the report of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the exam took place seriously, safely, and in accordance with regulations. Specifically, the whole city has 201 exam sites with a total of 4,411 exam rooms. The total number of candidates taking the math exam was 102,423/102,860 students, reaching a rate of 99.57% (equivalent to 437 absent candidates).
The final exam had no invigilators or candidates violating the regulations; the entire city had 12 candidates who needed assistance with taking the exam due to health problems or disabilities, and all were given favorable conditions to complete the exam.
Tomorrow, June 9, candidates who registered for the specialized high school exam will take the specialized subject exam.
