The person mentioned is Ly Phuong Thuan (real name Nguyen Thi Tich, 1916-1995).

Mrs. Thuan was born into a family with a rich revolutionary tradition in Hung Tan commune, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An province. Her mother died when she was only 3 months old. She lived with her father, Nguyen Trong Quyen, who was enlightened about the revolution early on.

The small house of Mr. Trong Quyen used to be a place where revolutionary soldiers gathered to communicate and conduct secret activities. Born into such a family, Ly Phuong Thuan had a strong patriotic spirit since childhood.

At the age of 8, little girl Ly Phuong Thuan followed Mr. Co Khon - a friend of Mr. Nguyen Trong Quyen to Laos to study and was given a new name, Hoang Le Minh.

At the age of 10, Hoang Le Minh was sent to Siam (Thailand) to study at Hoa Anh School in Bangkok. This class was founded by Uncle Ho with members including: Ly Huu Trong (Ly Tu Trong), Ngo Hau Duc (Ly Phuong Duc), Le Quang Dat, Le Hong Son, Le Hong Phong and Hoang Le Minh took the new name Ly Tieu Muoi.

After studying for a year, Uncle Ho took the whole class to Guangzhou, China, and sent them to study at Zhongshan Elementary School. At that time, Ly Tieu Muoi had a new name, Ngo Ung Thuan. Later, she took the name Ly Phuong Thuan, alias Ly Sam.

After graduating from Zhongshan Elementary School, Li Fangshun was assigned to work at the secret agency of the Overseas Branch of our Party, led by Comrade Feng Zhijian. At that time, Li Fangshun's duties were to transfer secret documents, act as a liaison, guide, and interpreter for Party comrades.

Later, Ly Phuong Thuan received an order from Uncle Ho to apply for a job as a worker at the Ky Electric Factory (producing flashlight batteries). While working as a worker and participating in revolutionary activities, Ly Phuong Thuan was assigned the task of propagating and mobilizing the revolution among workers, distributing leaflets and slogans, calling on workers to fight against oppression and exploitation, demanding higher wages and reduced working hours, and opposing evictions...

At the age of 18, Li Fangshun was admitted to the Communist Party of China. At that time, Uncle Ho had another name, Li Rui, and used the alias Song Wenchu. In Li Fangshun's resume, there was a line stating that she was Song Wenchu's niece.

In 1931, Lee Fong-shun was arrested by the Hong Kong police at 186 Tam Lung Street. Although she was 18 years old, Lee claimed to be only 15 and that she was Sung Man-shou's niece. Due to insufficient evidence, Lee Fong-shun was eventually released. She then sought refuge in Japan, and then returned to Shanghai.

At the end of August 1945, Ly Phuong Thuan returned to Vietnam and met Ms. Tong Minh Phuong. In the house on Hang Buom Street, she saw a picture of President Ho Chi Minh hanging under the red flag with a yellow star. Recognizing that it was Mr. Tong Van So, Ly Phuong Thuan was extremely happy.

Through communication, Uncle Ho and Ly Phuong Thuan met again after 14 years of no contact. Immediately after that, Uncle handed Ly Phuong Thuan over to comrade Le Gian, General Director of the Central Public Security Department, with the following instructions: "This is Ms. Hoang Le Minh - Ly Phuong Thuan, who has been through secret activities and has a lot of experience. She is fluent in Chinese, French and English. You really need cadres like this to deal with the Chiang army."

From then on, Ly Phuong Thuan returned to her intelligence mission as a receptionist at Thang Long Hotel. She became the first female intelligence officer in the police force, collecting many important pieces of information. Notable among Nguyen Thi Tich's intelligence activities was the discovery of the plot to kidnap Uncle Ho by the Chiang army in December 1945, the intention to use the Kuomintang reactionaries on On Nhu Hau street to cause a coup by the French colonialists.

Ly Phuong Thuan served in the police force until 1970 when she retired. She passed away in 1995 at the age of 80.
