Nui Phao promotes environmental protection activities in Hung Son

On May 8, Nui Phao Mineral Exploitation and Processing Company Limited (Nui Phao Company) coordinated with the People's Committee of Hung Son Town (Dai Tu) to donate 500 trash bins and provide training on waste classification at source to more than 200 households in the area. This activity contributes to supporting the locality in completing the criteria for a civilized urban area and promoting the habit of living green - clean - beautiful, linking sustainable development with environmental protection.

Representatives of Nui Phao Company presented 500 trash bins worth 100 million VND to the people of Hung Son town.

All 500 trash bins worth 100 million VND sponsored by Nui Phao Company will be distributed to 9 residential groups, including: An Long, Cau Thanh 1, Cau Thanh 2, Cho 1, Cho 2, Tan Son, Dinh, Son Tap and Dong Trung. The new trash bins will replace the temporary trash containers that people used to use, which were not hygienic and aesthetically pleasing.

Along with the donation activities, Nui Phao Company staff directly propagated and instructed people on how to classify waste at source, thereby helping people master the knowledge and skills of collecting and utilizing organic waste and recycling inorganic waste, minimizing treatment costs and limiting negative impacts on the environment.
